Bride Finds Alternate Husband

This series is one of my favorites. I love this family and I can't wait to hear more about them. J. Scott Bennett is my most favorite male narrator. He gives me goose bumps the way he talks during the romantic parts. These are such great stories about the old West with nothing graphic as far as violence or sex. The author just tells an honest-to-goodness story of life and love between Cowboys and Indians. I received this audio from J. Scott Bennett in exchange for a review. Dont miss this series!!!

Perfection

Hannah finds herself stranded in Dawson after answering an advert for a Mail Order Bride because her intended husband had lied and gotten her there under false pretenses. She meets up with Owl, the first Indian man she has seen and her life changes and so does his.
There are a few incidents of racial tension and injustice but these are very cleverly handled by the author.
Both Hannah and Owl are strong characters who know what they want and go after it. I loved his proposal. It was just so clever and so romantic.
As usual, Linda Bridey brings out the family support factor and this gives real strength to her story.
J. Scott Bennett does justice to Ms. Bridey's most enjoyable tale with his excellent narration. Reading or listening to this series is like coming home.
I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author in exchange for an unbiased review.
