Alan Taylor performance in narrating the book is outstanding. The story is very good to begin with and with Mr. Taylor narrating, the story comes alive. This book is in the top 25% of all my audible books.
Annie was the young lady with a past who wanted a husband. She was afraid to move forward and afraid to take a chance. Eventually, she gets renew hope.
I could visually McKenzie when Alan spoke his part. Alan did a great job of separating all the characters.
I did listen in sitting. The story moved along and held my attention all the way through.
This is a clean and enjoyable story of two people wanting to find love. They are lonely and each has a need of belonging. The story has a happy ending.
