The narration makes this okay book really not okay.
I could barely stay focused on the story with the narration. I kept focusing on how the voice sounded like a snobby high class mother that keeps telling her service that they have done something wrong. The parts of the story I did pay attention to were alright, but not as funny or amusing as previous reviews made it out to be. The teenage nephew and niece were obnoxious and Zoe was weak. Her reasoning behind the entire story didn't make sense and made her seem like she just woke up one day and said, eh, I think I'll go ahead and just do this.

Narration almost killed the story
This is a cute story. I'm half way through listening and still don't understand what caused the relationship rift in the past, but I'm hopeful that will eventually come out more than it has thus far.
That said, I would recommend this book as a Kindle or paperbook read, not an audio book. The narrator has no ability to change her voice for the various characters. It is difficult to follow from that regard. In addition, although I hate to say it, she just has a terrible reading voice. I feel bad for the author that this was the voice chosen to represent her book. I will not listen to this narrator again.
