Storm's younger cousin. Vandal's little brother. You've met him in the background. The sweet one. The nice one. The one they can all rely on. In short, the good one. He's a tattoo artist. He plays metal and classical music - on the violin. He's got a body built for sin. And he's 24. In comes Ivy. She's a 36-year-old single mom who hasn't dated in 18 years. All she wanted was a tattoo. She got a whole lot more. Contains mature themes.

It's rare to find a series where we get a tasteful story about an older women and a younger man; usually it's the other way around. Way to go Cole! I loved it! I think my heart stopped when Ivy realized her husband was leaving her for a younger women.
Nelson Hobbs and Tatiana Sokolov's performance was Stellar! They had me hanging on to every word, and I could feel the emotions Ivy went through! Kudos!
All I can do is ditto all the positive reviews on this one! Awesome story, well worth the time and credit! Enjoyed every minute.

LUKAS PROVES THAT TRUE LOVE TRUMPS ANY AGE GAP
This series seems to be getting better and better - Carian Cole's characters have such depth to them and her stories are so addictive and bitter-sweet too because she doesn't hold back on the heartbreaking punches that can devastate along the way. Mother of two, Ivy's world has been turned upside down having found out her husband has been having an affair with a much younger woman for over a year. And, now separated, she's learning to take back her life.... so starts it off by having a tattoo - but never would she of guessed just how her life was going to change and be challenged by Lukas - the handsome young tattoo artist who lovingly strokes her thighs as he inks her leg.
Lukas was the perfect Hero - a sexy, tattooed, pierced, long haired rocker type who occasionally plays violin in the Ashes & Embers Band. But, when it comes to Ivy, he's so much more... he's caring, kind, thoughtful, loyal, honest, possessive, very loving and sexy (yes, it had to be said twice) and, despite Ivy's doubts, he relentlessly goes after what his soul is crying out for.. a loving family and Ivy. There's never any doubt with Lukas... he wants the whole package... Ivy, her two kids and the HEA ending but before that can happen there will be tears, a death, doubts, vicious lies, broken promises, a cruel betrayal, heartache, a shocking discovery... and once again Ivy's heart will be shattered.
Every time one of these listens ends I really don't want to say goodbye to the characters who I've mentally watched them battle with emotional turmoil, go through drama and heartache, find and let love in and eventually reap the rewards. Instead I wanted to bask alongside them a little more and soak up the romance, the tender heartfelt feel-good moments and the sexy desires - safe in the knowledge that this talented Author has weaved together another magical love story that will withstand anything. Dual POV's and great narration... Tatiana Sokolov is one of my top female narrators as her male voices are so well done and believable... which brings the story, and it's characters, to life.
Worth a credit? This book is seeped in romance, its characters melted my heart and the dilemma of the storyline kept me riveted until the very last word... so YES very creditworthy.
