Worst narrator ever

Any additional comments?

Listened to book 1,2,3,and 3.5. Enjoyed, then narrator switched. Payed for 1thru 8. And so mad I did. It hurt to listen to book 4. And maybe in the future if I'm hurting for a book will I listen to the rest. It was very painful to listen to. So bad that I really don't know if the story was good, could not wait for it to end.

Love the characters, not so much the narrator..

So I do love the story between Alex and Jamie. And I’ll keep listening for that reason. But I sincerely wish Ruby Rivers didn’t make Alex sound like an over dramatized version of a steroid induced, angry, masochistic, 19-and-horny, overly cocky, soap opera star. There really should be a variation of inflection. Different circumstances should cause the characters to sound differently. It’s one thing when he’s supposed to be rocking Jamie’s world in bed, it should be completely different when he’s supposed to be having an intimate moment when he’s vulnerable. It made me cringe in certain scenes because it gives it a completely different feel than the story line would otherwise have you believe.

Why did we change narrators between books?

The narrator has a whiny voice that that makes the main characters sound like a valley girl. I think I may have to read the rest since her voice is that irritating. Overall the book is good outside of the narrator.

Bad Narrator

I rarely complain about the narrator but this one I was not expecting since the first 3.5 books had a totally different. She not only miss pronounced the character Jamie's name as Jimmy she made the book not as good as the first ones.

I would have given this a overall higher stars but the narrator made me not want to.

Would rather read it than listen to the performer.

I can't really rate the book or any other books read by this person. Her voice is monotionous like nails down a chalkboard!!

Great story buy...

Th first 3 books in this series were really great and were read ok... but starting with book 3.5 the narrator was changed and she read the book too fast, which makes following along a little uncomfortable sounds better at .75 but is uncomfortable it's not natural

Love the Boss

Even though Alex claims not to know how to love, his heart is opening for Jamie. Ruby Rivers did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Narrator is two much

I have love these books so far! This new narrator though, is just awful. She doesn't do the male voices well, and she sounds like a whiney cheer Leader.
