Book 5 in the series. Wow what a story . It’s a hot one it’s a story you will get hooked on !! It’s a dragon getting together with a witch . Mother Earth decides to play a trick on Silas and Cassandra. Silas doesn’t see what is coming to him . All he knows is one by one his friends are falling , timing the knot . Silas is looking for a powerful stone that he will need .
Cassandra has that stone but she doesn’t know how powerful it is or why Silas needs it . It’s not because as a dragon he needs it for his horde as most dragons do . Grab it and see what a powerful love story it is

Kelsey performance was good . Her voice is strong and clear .

Another great addition to the series

I am still loving this series about a group of shifters living on Maui. This book is about the leader of the group, Silas, and a human woman, Cassandra. The story begins in New York with an auction of a diamond which may be one of the Spirit Stones. Of course, Drax is there to bid along with Moira, Silas' ex-girlfriend. There is a surprise when the stone is about to be purchased by Drax, and Cassandra ends up with the diamond.

Silas saves Cassandra from an attack by Drax and he, Kai, and Tessa convince her to come with them. The rest of the story takes place in Hawaii, and I will let you love it for yourself. I really like the narrator and I think you will too.

Awesome

We finally get to find out Silas's story and it was worth the wait. The story is full of intrigue. Anna Lowe wrote an amazing fight scene and when Kelsey read it, I got goose bumps. There's a surprise at the end too. You'll never see it coming.

if you have listened to the other books then this is 1 you can't afford to miss.
Silas finds his true mate and all hell breaks loose too.

Transition to audible lost something for me.

I have posted a review for this book as well which I will include at the end.
I found listening to this book different from the previous books. The narration is the same as always, slightly monotone in presentation but the big battle scene towards the end felt more dragging and longer than when I read it in the book. Whilst reading it seemed exciting and all happened quickly, I loved it but something was lost in the transition to audible.
This is the culmination of five books worth of aggravation from Drax and Moira and it seemed to come across as more of a whimper than a bang.
My husband was in the car with me and even he commented on how dull it seemed for a big battle scene.
So in regards to this audible book I love the story but the narration lets it down. Not enough verve when needed.
This is my honest review of this audible book.
BOOK REVIEW
Ms Lowe has done it once again and given us another great story in the Aloha Shifters series.
A beautifully written story for a special person we have come to love, Silas, that introduces a wonderfully complex yet simple woman made just for him, Cassie.
This book starts out with a kick and just keeps you hustling to read what happens next.
Cassie has only just learned about shifters and has been told in no uncertain terms to NEVER trust a dragon. She manages to stop Drax from getting the Windstone and puts herself right in Drax crosshairs.
Silas saves her and gives her the option of coming with him to safety or going it alone. He is drawn to Cassie but won’t admit why but his dragon knows and keeps telling him quite forcefully and humorously, that she is his mate. Silas’ dragon was so cute as he kept a running commentary with Silas about Cassie being their mate that had me in stitches.
Cassie is the only one who can get Silas to stop and enjoy the beauty of what life is showing him. She is the balance he so badly needed. He has never really even stopped to admire the view from his own house.
I loved how this story played out, the interaction between these two learning to trust the other and the slow build up to a relationship that will last a lifetime.
Having started this series with 5 handsome shifter males, Ms Lowe has given us everything we need to start winding this series up. But instead has she has subtlety opened this series up to more characters and more great reads.
Loved that we finally find out about the ownership of Koa Point and it is now a settled home for everyone.
It was such a twist as to how Silas and Drax finally get together for the final battle and I truly loved the poetic justice of what happened to Drax, unfortunately Moira is still at large.
This is my honest review of this book.

Dragon Fun!

Silas gets his story. Really good character development and interaction. Cassandra brings out a different side of Silas. There is an undeniable attraction between the two of them when they first meet. She has something Silas needs, so he takes her protection upon himself and takes Cassandra back to Hawaii with him.
This book brings the previous books together, but it's not necessary to have read the others in order to follow this one.

FANTASIC SERIES!

So much exciting stuff l want to comment on but
dare not due to spoiling the story for you. Let me say this though..this book left me feeling high and happy
and keen for the next story to start. l'm dying to find out how the new people integrate and what exciting and romantic things happen.
l recommend this series and l recommend this author to all who find joy in the magical worlds of the written word.

I love it!

This is such a wonderful story. You have to love how Cassandra stood up to Silas. The interactions with the kitten are so wonderful. I am looking forward to the next one.

An amazing story!

Silas and Cassandra are wonderful characters. He has been wound too tight all through the series. She is the perfect woman to loosen him up. Reading this was great and listening is great as well. A wonderful story with lots of action. I can;t wait to find out what happens next but I am gonna miss these characters. I loved the mention of Twin Moon Ranch and Blue Moon Saloon. Definitely recommend it.
