Great book and narration

I chose the 5 star rating because it was a great book and written very well. The narration was great but would have been better with another voice (female) for Imani.
This book is definitely for a 21 and over crowd!

I want a Chase brother!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I've listened to it several times now. I love the narrator, the story, and the performance. Nana is awesome! would love to see a continuation of the Chase Brothers to see how each of their stories ends.

Not My Cup Of Tea

This book is called a new adult romance. I have no idea what that actually means. I’m a romcom kind of girl and this was way dark. That, however, wasn’t the issue. I just think the narrator was pretty bad. Not on his female characters so much, but on the male lead. The content of this book was hard enough to hear without Halstead’s voice sounding so desperate through the entire book. It just made it weird for me. I’ll not be looking for more from this author or this narrator.

Nice read

The series is entertaining ... both books are good...
But the second book in the series is better than the first one .... both books in the series can be read as stand alone books

Chase Rules!

The Chase brothers make me want to take a trip to London if they talk anything like they do in this book.... Xander really got the short end of the stick with the mother's boyfriend.....We must protect our children... This sexy beautiful man was almost wrecked by horrible acts and to know that another person who was probably a victim as well contributed and agitated it was worse.
We all have secrets and I like that he eventually tells her about his but she irked me because she held on to hers, when she could have shared her hurts which could have brought them closer and that she did not seemed a bit selfish to me. I understand wanting to take care of yourself and control your own life but there is a kind of lack of humility when you can't of won't accept help,he was there for her in a way no one was and she had issues with it... say thank you baby especially when your'e in love with him and the two of you are burning up the sheets.
I liked the chemistry and the love scenes. I liked that Alexi and his Nartey are apart of this book and the love between these two brothers most of all, it is what family is supposed to be to one another.

Dark Romance

With all the darkness, I loved this book. The narrator was excellent and made me feel as if I were in the same room with these characters. Sometimes the heroine got on my nerves but the book was worth the irritation.

Good

I really liked this book and would recommend it. I wish the Chase brothers was a TV show or a movie. I didn't like how the couple didn't read or hear each other about how in love they each was. They had great sex scenes ,but I do wish the first time they experienced each other without protection the author would have gave a detail storyline like the other sex scenes. I would have like a female narrator along with the male like the first Chase brothers book.

Another sexy and entertaining Chase Bros. story!

What made the experience of listening to London Calling the most enjoyable?

I like that narrator Graham was less high pitched on this narration than he was on Filthy English written by Ilsa Madden-Mills. I'd rate his performance 4.5 stars for his performance this time, bravo!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Xander because he has the most character growth in my opinion.

What about Graham Halstead’s performance did you like?

He chose good accents for all of the characters and handled narrating both males and females really well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There were quite a few humorous moments.

Any additional comments?

I'll definitely reread this one someday. And I will also keep my eye out for more novels written by Nana Malone and for more novels narrated by Graham Halstead.
