Little Memphis

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If the author wrote more likeable heroes. I know its an MC book and the males are usually a-holes, but for the story to work, I need both a strong heroine and a hero I find likeable enough to be worthy of the heroine. For the first part of the book, Ford wasn't that. But he did redeem himself later on when he embraced his relationship with Shay.

What about Meghan Kelly’s performance did you like?

Meghan's narration was the best part of Little Memphis. She did a great job narrating the various characters, their emotions, the drama and sweet moments in the book.Meghan narrated the various MC members perfectly, their gruff voices were spot on and my favorite of hers.

Any additional comments?

Little Memphis might not have worked for me, but the narration by Meghan Kelly and the plot which were light on drama and violence are points in its favor.

Good book with good narration

Story: A bit hit and miss for me. Quite entertaining but the time line changes made the book rather confusing at times. With that being said, I thought the story was quite good, with occasional humour. I felt the author portrayed emotions very well and the characters were nicely written and fleshed-out.

Narrator: The narrations was, on the whore, very well done. There were times (very occasional) that the narration felt stilted but this was very rare and can happen with any audiobook. Other than that, I felt the characters were portrayed very well and I enjoyed listening to the narrator’s voice.

P.S. This audiobook was provided by the narrator free of charge in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.
