A really enjoyable audiobook

I've read this book a little while ago and I found a very enjoyable, light romance.
I hesitated about the narrator at first and it took a while to get used to her voice, but I warmed to her and she did a really good job with the different characters' accents voices.
This is the author's debut and I'm looking forward to her next book and the narrator's other work.

So refreshing

I loved the story line and the fact there were no games played. Mostly!
Refreshing to see a love story that doesn’t have to deal with prejudice or shame.
Very “ feel good” kind of story!

Wonderful book!

...and the narration was perfect. I think this officially cements Lise Gold as one of my favorite authors. Everything I've read by her so far has been beautiful and heartfelt, and this story is no exception.

Lily Bug

Honestly it took me a long time to download this book. Hearing the English Accent turned me off. Next came the Indian Accent, but the American Accent blended it all together. Yes I would recommend this book to any of my friends who love to read. Thanks Lise Gold great story. Off to my next adventure.

I loved this book! A wonderful story line set in London and Bali. It had me up then down. in tears and then laughing! This has been one of the best lesbian romance books I have listened to on audible.

Paradise with really sweet romantic reality

This was a really sweet love story with two characters finding out who they really are while finding themselves. From a Bali paradise to the reality of London this story was well put together.

Very good book

I liked this book a lot. The main characters were awesome and the secondary characters were great too. The story flowed well with just a little bit of angst. The narrator did a good job with the different accents.

Really fun and sexy

I found this book after reading another one by Lise Gold called French Summer which I thoroughly enjoyed. This one was equally engaging and fun and steamy and the perfect escape. The narrarator has a kind of strange theatrical reading style that I found extremely distracting. But not enough to quit listening. She did an impressive job with all the myriad accents, however, which was no small feat. Except the southern accent which was one of the strangest ones I’ve heard yet. But I’m southern and frankly—no one seems to be able to do it. Anyway—highly recommend for a fun sexy escape!
