What fun!

How enlightening the clear delineation of treatment of women and children of poverty ! Too bad this could not have been a solution for more. But, admire the treatise thinking of Amanda Quick in her story.

Delightful characters, romance, and mystery!

If you could sum up Lie by Moonlight in three words, what would they be?

Deep characters, amusing tension, and interesting mystery.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Concordia Glade -- smart, brave, strong, and dedicated to her students at possible expense to herself. Willing to break convention to act on her principals.

Which character – as performed by Louise Jane Underwood – was your favorite?

Ambrose Wells. Wonderful male voice done by woman. Although all of the voices were terrific!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but circumstances intervened, so I had to break it up.

Any additional comments?

One of my favorites of Jayne's Victorian romances. Very interesting characters, and a good mystery without being overly dark. Plus, the addition of teenagers who catch the adults in consistencies and call out romance when they see it was really fun!
