Great Comeback

This series had gotten to be too much sex and no story. this one changed that storyline and there were several plot twist and side stories that made this one of her better books. This series does nothing for her Dark series but it does hold it's own now that this one has upped the game. I was getting tired of so much graphic sex and not much storyline. I have all of her books. every Dark, Leopard, Sisters and Ghostwalkers. I loved most of them but Dark Symphony will always be my favorite. The narration as always is spot on.

Alonso/Fyodor Is A Russian Leopard--Patient

I love the Leopard People books and liked this one very much BUT it didn't grab me like the others. Alonso/Fyodor was an alpha male and he was patient with Evangeline but the whole Russian mafia connection didn't do it for me. I get that the book was set in San Antonio in a modern city and that the leopards were trying to stop a bad guy's mob. I even liked the connection with Jake and Drake and Eli and Elijah and their mates BUT it still fell flat for me. Finally, the sex got involved and that did seem similar to the earlier books although even then it didn't seem to have the heat of Books 3, Jake & Emma, or Book 7 Cat's Lair. I just didn't get as invested in this book although I did rush to finish it and did find it a very good read. Feehan is a superb author and her writing is too good not to enjoy the story. I was just disappointed that I didn't feel the rush like I did in the earlier books. Perhaps it is because I prefer the rain forest and swamp but my all time favorite is Jake & Emma and I keep the 'best' sections marked for when my libido needs a boost. Alonso & Evangeline didn't have that many 'best' sections. All in all, it is a good story and I recommend it but would think that to truly get the story the reader must read the first eight books. Narrator was superb. He had the Russian accent of Fyodor down and portrayed the menace as well as the patient love he felt for Evangeline.

Loved book except ending

Ended too soon. Seems that that book should of at least had an epilogue. Felt sort of dropped at the end. This writer did this in another book. I hate feeling the story suddenly stopped unless I know a sequel is coming

Less Porn n More Plot, ABOUT TIME

Finally CF is returning to her former style of plotting. More character development and less smutty talk between the leading man and leading lady in the story, or should I say Leopard. Lately all of her series have turned into offensive sex scenes with the crudest references to both female and male interactions . It was wonderful to discover Evangeline’s character. She was the perfect combination of sweet and sass. Fyodor’s character was fascinating as well. They made a great couple. I also enjoyed many of the leopard couples from
previous books being involved in this story. I hope Ms Feehan will continue writing her more developed plot lines with characters of integrity.

Sexual Violence

I used to like Feehan 's books, but in many of her latest endeavors the "hero" is an ugly dominant, and his female prey supposedly loves that violent, sick domineering behavior. I'm beginning to to believe that Feehan is in reality a misogynist male.

ACTION PACKED LOVE STORY!!

What did you love best about Leopard's Fury?

The action taking out the enemies!!

What other book might you compare Leopard's Fury to and why?

Shadow Game with Lily and Capt Ryland Miller the Ghostwalker series by Christine Feehan, because of all the action and the alpha male as well as the alpha female characters

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was the reunion of all the previous characters at a BBQ

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It didn't make me laugh or cry but I was surprisingly happy about how the story was written less sex in this on an more action romance and lots of fighting action

Any additional comments?

WOW!! I want to say to all the Christine Feehan fans who have been disappointed with some of her past stories that she listen to her fans and she is back to being the excellent storyteller we all knew she was. Leopard's Prey is about the story. Sometimes I felt like I was reading the Godfather, but with a new uptake on it with Leopards!!

Leopard's Fury is not sex sex sex this is action packed fierce Leopards and them protecting there mates. I fell in love with the heroine Evangeline Trege which we met a few books back in the series and her Fierce Leopard Mate Alonzo Massi "aka" Fyodor Amurov. I am almost speechless at how great this couple is. OMG Evangeline has a fierce alpha female Leopard Bebe.

Lots of Kick Ass action and ask question later to all of Alonzo's enemies. We get to spend a lot of time with all the previous lead characters from the other Leopard People series. It almost felt like a reunion of all the characters. Emma's baby is born. There is a bit of repetitive sentences, but not many. It won't bother you. When we do get to the sex about 63% into the story its pure sensual sexy hot sex!! Leopards Fury is about the story, the action and the falling in love of a couple and less about the sex!!

As a very long time Fan of Christine Feehan I can't express how much I loved this story and I am so excited that CF is back to writing in her former style but has bought her stories into the world of today!!

I Highly Recommend Leopard's Fury!! You won't regret reading it.

Almost too repetitive.

i have been reading this series for a while and I have to be honest it is becoming very repetitive. I love her writing and the characters/worlds but I kept feeling like I read this story before then I realized it was nearly same plot line 3 books ago. I love Jim Frangione velvet voice though.

blah

I would return in a heartbeat. I was so annoyed by Evangeline with her lack of regard for safety. Her resistance got drawn out and tedious after a while. I kept rolling my eyes throughout the book.

Evangeline and Alonso/Fyodor

I love Christine Feehan's Leopard series but, for me, this one was not as good as some of the others and it took me a while to get into it. It was nice that couples from other books made appearances. Although not used to this in her books, but the steamy parts are not there until almost two thirds through the book. Alonso was one tough leopard/man but Evangeline could hold her own against him. Although the ending felt a bit abrupt, this was a really good story. Jim Frangione did a great job with the narration.

Great Book

I had read the book already but wanted to try the audio, it was great. The narrator did a good job. Christine Feehan of course is excellent writer. I’m always waiting for her next book.
