Daniel: For the last 18 months, one goal has dictated every action I've taken. I've left the army, turned paid hit man, and befriended criminals all across the globe to find my kidnapped sister. In every brothel I raid and every human trafficking truck I stop, I hope the next face I find is my sister's. In a hidden brothel in Rio, I find Regan Porter.
I should leave her behind or send her home because the last thing either of us needs right now is to get involved. But with every passing minute, I find I'm less able to let her go.
Contains mature themes.

I CLUNG ON TO EVERY WORD.... & HELD MY BREATH TOO
Right from the start the hard hitting storyline grips you as the story picks up from book 1 after Reagan had been kidnapped, repeatedly raped, kidnapped again and then sold and is now in a dark basement chained up, treated like an animal and 'servicing' men. But her spirit isn't broken as she recites Zombie Movies in her head whilst things are being done to her body and somehow it's often her they are afraid of. But then one day in walks an American who has bought her for a little while and is taking her out, out to daylight and out of her Hell hole. She doesn't know if this is finally the end for her..... but she plans. Daniel has actually come to save her, and his Sister, he's gone through 18 months searching, rescuing and killing and he doesn't intend to stop until they are all back home free...... but fate has a different plan for them all.
This is an intense journey and your emotions go from euphoria to despair in a heartbeat and then laughter to tears in the next as these two damaged people find romance and love amongst the backdrop of chaos, murder, gangs, the Russian Bratva, bloodshed and destruction which somehow makes their bond unbreakable.
Writing a Review for a book you loved is so easy because Reagan and Daniel's story was all kinds of terrible, all kinds of shocking and all kinds of wonderful too. It was so well written you could picture each thrilling, chilling or romantic and tender scene and each and every character that made up this brilliant listen. The narrators did a great job with the many voices and emotions called for and it was a dual POV listen that had plenty of romance, sex, dirty talking and loving in amongst the violence.
Worth a credit? When you're in the mood for a more hard hitting love story then they don't come much better than this series dedicated to men who have somehow lost their way in life and have become, for whatever reason, Hit Men but are saved by love. Very creditworthy, the next book is already downloaded for when I next need a hit.

Great Story About about Healing & Love
Would you listen to Last Breath again? Why?
I can listen to this over & over, it is that good. Daniel & Reagan were made for each other following the trauma that Reagan went through Daniel helped heal her & eventually they both loved one another.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Reagan, because she was so brave through everything she went through,
What does Iggy Toma and Kasha Kensington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The expressions of the characters, They brig the characters to life.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh many times when Daniel would tease her to get a rise out of her & keep her from feeling down. I felt bad for what Reagan went through but she was a fighter not a loser.
Any additional comments?
It was a great listen & well worth a credit.
