Publisher's summary

The captivating third book in the Kennedy Boys series concludes Faye and Kyler's love story.

Nothing or no one will keep them apart....

Kyler Kennedy is in the wind. Shocked and upset, he has taken off on a solo mission - to track down his mom's ex and demand answers. Faye understands what it's like to have your world turned upside down. Determined to support her boyfriend, she gives chase, yet nothing could prepare her for the ugly truth. Ky has always been plagued with inner demons, and as he falls apart, Faye finally discovers what he's been hiding from her - from everyone.

When serious accusations arise, Kyler's future hangs in the balance. But Kennedys stick together in times of crisis, and they rally around him now. At least there is nothing to prevent Faye and Ky from being together. They go public with their relationship, but not everyone is thrilled for them. Bitter enemies reappear, and fresh battle lines are drawn, but Faye is ready to fight back. No one is taking her new family from her.

Especially not a manipulative ex. With time running out for Kyler, Faye takes matters into her own hands. But when you play with fire, you risk getting burned.

Loved listening to this!!!

I’ve just loved listening to Kyler and Faye’s story on Audible! Their story was intense, emotional, and sometimes so painful. But as they grow together, they become much stronger and better people. I’m thinking of especially Kyler, who started out with a lot of problems. They also grow so much closer as a couple, it’s so beautiful.

This book in particular, was full of surprises, plot twists, lots of excitement and some pretty crazy moments. It really was a great wrap up to Kyler and Faye’s story.

It was really awesome to have Craig Van Ness narrating along with Sinead Collins! Having that male voice for when we were in Kyler’s head was great! I thought they did a great job and thoroughly enjoyed the audible!!!!

Suspense, Twists and Angst!

Keeping Kyler begins right where Losing Kyler ends and they must be read in order. Kyler receives information that sends him into a tailspin so he heads on a journey to find out about his past while leaving everyone behind however Faye is not about to let him face it by himself.

Now that they are finally able to be together this should be a time for them to enjoy their relationship however outside forces are determined to put an end to it and will stop at nothing to ensure that it happens. They need to focus on their love and trust in each other and deal with it as a couple rather than individually in order to ensure that they will triumph in the end.

Wow this book has all the feels! The combination of suspense, drama, angst, chemistry and an enduring love makes this an enjoyable read. I thought the narrators did a great job and it was great to have dual narrators for this story. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the author.

Book 3 in a Messy NA Romance

Book 3 picks up right where book 2 ended, with Kyler inadvertently learning a family secret that completely destroys what he knows about himself. Kyler runs away to confront his past, not feeling that he is worth Faye's love yet. Faye knows how much he is hurting and is willing to fight endless battles to get to his side, causing her to finally learn about the demon that has haunted him for seven years. But they could never have guessed about the trouble that is brewing for those they love.

This was actually my second time reading this book, but this time I listened to the audio book. Wow, I completely forgot how much goes on in this book as well as how freaking messed up everything is! Would you like some murder, blackmail, abuse, family drama and some hot romance all smooshed together? Well, look no further because this series has it all- and this book takes the cake with some intense drama.

I really liked the audio version predominantly because the narrator who did Faye's voice and her super cute Irish accent. I would not be surprised if I randomly slip into an atrocious Irish accent of my own occasionally now. I have read the trilogy and this was my first listen and I enjoyed both version very much.

This book is the third book in a series that must be read in order to really appreciate the story fully. Each book builds on the events from the previous book to give a complete picture, and reading this book would make no sense without the first two. I highly recommend that you pick up the first two books before even trying this one.

This series, especially this book, is like reading an incredibly engrossing teenage soap opera (or I guess pretty much any show set in a high school on the CW channel). Just when you think the characters are going to get one minute to breath and potentially be happy, something devastating or at least shocking happens to start the chain of worry again. I blew through this book in an afternoon because I just couldn't help myself and I needed to know more.

Soooo, can I give a teeny tiny spoiler and say that the sexual tension that has been spilling all over the place in the last two books finally has some sort of resolution (ahem, climax if you may)? It has been so steamy at times between Kyler and Faye that I feel like a bucket of water is needed to cool off my ereader during the last two books, and that was without any actual sex occurring. Well, if you like some hot scenes, then you will not be disappointed with Keeping Kyler. Not just the sexy time, but the words of love pour off the pages. These two are not afraid to admit their feelings to each other and everyone else (even if at times I want them to stop the oversharing of their hearts because it is so raw it makes me uncomfortable).

Yes this is a romance first and foremost, but it has so many more elements to it such as mystery. There are so many moving parts and questions that needed answers as well as crimes and villains to sort out that the romance at times took a backseat to proving someones innocence. This is last book in the Kyler trilogy and it ended with hope and happiness, a nice change from the first two books. There will be standalone books in the Kennedy boy's series, but this is the end of Kyler and Faye's story. I can't wait to read the other books in the series and see what messes they get into, but I really hope I get to see more Kyler and Faye at least in the background being happy together.

Epic conclusion!

Finally the epic throw down and the final conclusion of Kyler and Faye’s story. And holy bells, was their story rough...there were honestly times that I almost gave up because I am not sure how many more hits they could have taken.
But even after hurdle after hurdle they prevailed and so did their love. If you like books with off the charts angst and pain, then this will be the next book you should read!

Faye and Kyler defeat obstacles

In this third audiobook in this series, Faye and Kyler really go through a lot. There are more unexpected revelations and a murder, which complicates everyone’s life, but especially Kyler’s. Things the family thought were true turn out to be lies and emotions run high. I must stress that you have to listen to these books in order or you won’t be able to understand anything, there are so many soap opera-ish twists!
Narration was well performed I liked having a male voice added.

Keeping Kyler

Keeping Kyler is the third book in The Kennedy Boys series, and is the final installment with Faye and Kyler. This book is told from dual POV's. Which is my favorite writing style so we know what both characters are feeling and thinking.

Kyler is on gone. Secrets came out in the last book and he's shocked and upset. He's trying to discover more about his past. He doesn't know how to feel about the man he called a father. Faye wants to support Kyler in his time of need, and discovers more secrets. She doesn't want him to be alone, because she knows what it's like to have your life ripped away from you.

The Kennedy boys stick together no matter what goes on in their life, and that's proven in this book. Faye and Kyler can finally come out and be the couple they always want to be since they discover they aren't really cousins, but it's still frowned upon by some.

I really enjoyed Faye and Kyler's story, and can't wait to read more in the series.
