Publisher's summary

Best-selling author of the Savannah Series brings you a fun summer romance novella showing the ups and downs of a hot summer fling. This is a must-hear novella - enjoy one more hot and steamy romance before summer ends!

For ages 18+ due to adult content and language. This novella is a prequel to the Chasing Carolina series but can be heard as standalone.

Blurb:

Chase Kenzington loves two things: fast cars and women. At 22, he has the entire world at his feet. With his father being Hank Kenzington, who is one of the best drivers in the Sprint Cup Series and his grandfather, Arnold Kenzington, a legend in Nascar, he's used to getting whatever he wants when he wants it.

When he and his friends decide to spend the summer at his father's beach house in Myrtle Beach, he expects to spend it throwing parties on the beach and finding hot girls to hook up with. The last thing on his mind is finding a girl who'll make him re-think everything.

Ashlynn Myers, along with a few sorority sisters, is heading to Myrtle Beach for four weeks of fun in the sun. The last thing she expects is to meet a guy while on vacation who will make her fall fast and hard before she even knows what hit her. When she meets Chase the chemistry between them is undeniable. The thing about summer and summer romances is that they both come with expiration dates. After summer ends, you have to part ways and go back to your everyday lives.

What do you do when you think you've found your soul mate but you're separated by hundreds of miles? Will Ashlynn and Chase be able to walk away from their summer fling and never look back, pretending that what they had for one month over the summer was nothing more than a hot summer hook-up?

summer fling

I loved the story line because you thought it would be one way and then you get surprised. Good short story and now wanting to read or listen to the next books. There was changes throughout the story that make you want the same.

I don't know

I had a hard time with this one. First off, I couldn't get past the female narrator. She just wasn't good and she was hard to listen to. Also, he sleeps with another girl at the beginning. After he spends the day with the h. And after she sees them together and he sees how it upsets her but he still sleeps with the o/g. I absolutely cannot stand that. I will say though that he does genuinely feel horrible about it so that did make it a little better. But his excuse for calling the other girl to begin with is so incredibly lame, I just can't even. He's arrogant and pretty unlikable for awhile too. However, I did end up liking him by the end of the book. But it was hard. I would recommend reading, just go in knowing you probably won't like him for awhile.

Loved it!

I was not a fan of the female narrator. But the story kept me listening. A great summer romance story with a bit of steam no a lot of steam. This book was HOT!

Summer of falling in love/lust

This one is a little harder to describe for me. I did really like the story. If the hero being with other women is an issue for you, then I want to express a trigger warning. This is what maybe didn't make me swoon although the love the hero develops for the heroine and vice versa does make it not a dealbreaker for me. I definitely want to learn how things pan out for them. A.K. Rivers and Connor Brown do a great job narrating. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A good story

This is a good story that last about four hours. I got it because it had Nascar in the description. there was little to do with Nascar but I ended up adding this story in my favorites .

Nope!

I could'nt finish this book. The strong southern accent was too distracting. It was too dramatic for the story.
