Jared is so broken from war, and the loss of his wife, he's in a dark place that no one can pull him out from. Not even family. Until Grace. I love that it was Grace that pulled him out of his dark place with her innocence. The growth between the both of them insuch a short period of time is amazing.
I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook, Alisa Woods Morais Almeida and Brian Hutch did an amazing job keeping me hooked throughout this entire story.
Would you listen to Jared again? Why?
Yes because I loved the story, and especially the performance by Brian he puts so much feeling into it
What other book might you compare Jared to, and why?
Jaxson and Jace in the same series RIver Wolves they are all such strong damaged characters who just want what is best for their family and pack.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, most definiately
Any additional comments?
I have really enjoyed all three books in this series, Alisa is a really talented author.
The whole 3 books of this series The River Wolves Brothers are emotional and spell binding.
I am looking forward to reading the next series of books by Alisa Woods.

Jared has been portrayed a almost irrevocably broken but the lack of depth, unlike the previous 2, is harder to accept. The male narrators voice didn't really mesh with previous descriptions of Jared. good story line with an open end but weaker than the 1st 2
