Disappointing book
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Not really. The author couldn't decide whether to write an adventure story, romance, or soft porn. It read like she wrote one and then inserted the others. Pace was erratic and I've read better porn by amateurs writing on the Internet.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Very fakey.
What about Molly Glenmore and Cooper North ’s performance did you like?
The readers brought some life to what otherwise would have been a pedantic, if not somnolent tale.

No more for me from this author. She needs to read Gabaldon's "Outlander" series and try again.

Slow burn; 2.5
Detective Adam and Dr. Novak didn't even kiss until almost 8 hrs into story. I didn't enjoy everything about the writing, but it was nice seeing a relationship progress instead of immediately jumping into everything.

Confused
The book seemed confused whether it was a love story, crime story or a porn book. It varied amongst the three and the story itself was lost at times.

Love Tina's Stories if Substance
Have been waiting for this since the Love Unscripted series. This too many had depth. Loved Erin's tale and Adam's persistence & alpha character.
Enjoyed Molly's narration, but not Cooper's harsh rendition so much.
