I went into this audio not having listened to book 1 and I kind of wish I had but it was not necessary at all. I just really want to know more about Trent and Teal.
This book deals with everything real. It's difficult and sometimes uncomfortable but the entire book I kept thinking that Inger Iversen did such a brilliant job at portraying the most real and intense relationship. Trent and Teal were such a unique couple and their chemistry was off the charts. Unfortunately love doesn't ensure an easy path and Trent and Teal had quite a few speed bumps along the way.
I loved the romance and hot, hot love between T and T. Inger can definitely write her some steamy scenes!
Michael Pauley was such a great choice for this book. I admit it took me about 5 minutes to adjust to his narration but after that, it was smooth sailing and he locked me in for the entire book. I loved it.
Worth a credit? Most definitely. If I could do it again, I would listen to book 1 first even though this stands alone, I just want more of Trent and Teal and listening to book 1 first would have given me more time to obsess over them.

First, wonderful narration by Michael Pauley. Although this series has dual POV, I feel the masculine voice as the dominant story-teller.
Perfect ending for Trent and Teal. Full of raw emotion, hard truths and high obstacles. Oh, and emotional hot sex! We see a resolution beginning between Trent and Harper that will hopefully come to full circle in the next book.
TWO BIG THUMBS UP!
