Publisher's summary

Experience the magic of Eternity Springs, where broken hearts find healing, in this uplifting novel in Emily March’s unforgettable new series.

Haunted by painful memories, pediatric surgeon Sage Anderson gives up medicine and moves to Eternity Springs. There she finds a place to call home, but even her newfound success as a gifted artist isn’t enough to keep her nightmares at bay. Colt Rafferty is about to change all that.

Eternity Springs is a refuge for Colt, a place to ground himself when the stress of investigating tragedies takes its toll. He has come here for a little R & R, but instead of relaxing, he finds himself fascinated by the mysterious redhead whose secrets beg to be discovered - a beauty running from her past, a heartsick woman in desperate need of the sweet sanctuary of a devoted man’s embrace. And he is just the man to show her the true path to peace - by offering her the healing power of love.

Good story

No doubt this was a good story. However, part of the reason I wanted this book was because I thought it would finish up the Callahan story.
Sage’s story was was an emotional ride and that doesn’t happen often for me. Two thumbs up on that count.
But Gabe and Nic’s story was bound in there too and I started this series because I went through Gabe’s brothers first.
Although I read the Christmas novella, there was a lot of story about Gabe going back to Texas that was never delivered. I feel robbed. Now the twins are a year old so I can’t imagine any of the others in this series filling in that void. Very sad about being left hanging.

Even Better than the First!

I didn't think it was possible, but this second Eternity Springs novel is even better than the first! Emily March does an outstanding job of breathing life into characters of deep emotion while infusing them witha fair amount of humor and heat. Colt Rafferty has got to be one of the yummyiest male leads that's ever resulted from putting pen to paper! And while Sage does lean a little heavily on the stubborn side, her reasons are by no means shallow. Add to this a host of exceptional secondary characters, and you have a story that is too good to put down! Once again, Kathe Mazur does a stellar job at narraton.

If you haven't already done so, listen to Angel's Rest first. Then take a dip in Hummingbird Lake. You will not be disappointed!

Thoroughly enjoyed this story!

First off the narrator did an excellent job with this book. I found her performance to be excellent. Her voice is relaxing and calming, but can illicit excitement, surprise, and fear at the appropriate times. This story kept me coming back as I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next. There were times I felt the heroine needed ‘a time out’, but as she finally revealed her painful experience all became clear. I thought the author did an excellent job with the development of her characters and I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Take me there!

I’m whisked away by the descriptions of the scenery, the hot springs, the amazing people and even the chaos. Thank you for a great distraction that made me smile - even through the heartache parts of the story.

Are all of her books like this?

Seriously, every woman in these books are so hurt, twisted, agonized... Good grief get on your two feet and be an adult. I really tried... OMG

Depressing

Disliked the main character intensely. Her reluctance to recieve treatment reflected badly on her medical background.
