A little thing...

...but it’s really annoying to hear so many mispronunciations of common words like Covent Garden and ton. Though the narrator is good in other areas, accents are not her strength—the French modiste & the Scottish doctor were amusingly bad.

Chemistry! Chemistry! Chemistry!

So far my favorite of the Mayham in Mayfair series.
The characters are so well-developed and the narrations and voices, so good, particularly the main couple’s.
‘Loved the spicy, sultry persona of the heroine, juxtaposed to her lover’s calm and confident strength.
The story rewards with twists and turns and intrigue.
I’ve listened to it more than a couple of times and do recommend this read!

Great Fantastic Story. Hot and Steamy!!

What a great story. I have to say that all 3 of these books were fantastic. The hero and heroine both strong, smart and witty characters. The story line and the plot was fantastic. And my oh my the sex was very very hot and steamy. This series does not disappoint!

I am so excited, I wanted there to be a book about Paul.

Narration is good if you listen to it on 1.25 speed otherwise it's too slow.
Credit Worthy? OH YES!

Love Marianne and Ambrose

Wrote my own series where Ambrose was the name of the bad guy. After reading this book and loving these characters, Grace Callaway makes me want to go back and change my bad guys name!! ❤️Ambrose!
This is a story about love and trust. The author lets us see two people who are not perfect, but who bring out the best in each other. This is my third ‘listen’ of this book and I like it more each time.
Worth a credit? ABSOLUTELY!! You will not be disappointed!
Narration is excellent also!!

To much sex

I really like the story's but having to fast forward through all the sex is a pain

"Mayhem in Mayfair" series #3

Grace Callaway is a new author for me. With that being said, this series has Romance, Sex, Humor, Suspense and Mystery. In describing this book, Audible should have erotica in the description. I've listened to 3 of 4 in this series. And imo, #1 and this one are the best. I think it helps to listen in order so you know the characters.
I've enjoyed listening to Erin Mallon's performance. This series is credit worthy. Enjoy!😄

good listen

narrators voice was to breathy which made it hard to finish the book. yet, the story was good, a bit involved, but it gave it depth and prepared the way for the books to follow in the series.

Story so Good I Skipped the Romance Scenes

This was an awesome story! All the action! I highly recommend it for anyone interested in Romance novels. In fact, the story was so good the romance was not my focus at all.

Excellent hero! Feisty heroine!

Ambrose Kent is an excellent hero - a real man, hard working, devoted to his family and those he loves (including the heroine), honest, honorable and very assertive without being domineering. The kind of hero who builds up his woman and encourages her to be strong while offering his unwavering protection and support. Sigh. Maryanne is a feisty heroine who uses a prickly persona to protect her fragile heart. She's a woman on a mission and isn't going to let anything get in her way. Fortunately, Ambrose is just the man to help her if she can set aside her past experience with wicked and duplicitous men in order to trust him.

Excellent narration. Occasionally overly dramatic, but overall excellent pacing, expression and voices.

Grace Callaway is a phenomenal writer. I look forward to more of her incredible books!
