Quick shifter story w/o shifts

Audiobook review - So this audiobook is only an hour long. It's basically BFF's to lovers. It talks about shifters and has a cute scene in a shifter day care but that's about it. No one shifts, no growls. It could have been a regular CR except for a few choice "shifter" words here and there. Also the narrator made the heroine overly dramatic and the hero a bit of a douchebag. It was just meh for me.

Not Great

The story was ok for being so short but it wasn’t great. The Narrator made the male character sound like a whiney adolescent. It was hard to listen to.

Logan and Maeve

Logan and Maeve are best friends and she ends up pregnant by him. This was a good short story.

Audrey Lusk did a fair job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A fun quick read

I loved that this book had some great humor mixing in with the romance and a bit of suspense.

The character and world building are really well done. I liked Meave a lot, she's focused and driven, and all her planning and research made me laugh. Logan seems a bit like a typical rich playboy at first but it doesn't take long to see that there's more to him than meets the eye. And the chemistry... don't get me started on the chemistry!

A great book for a day you just want some lighthearted listening.

The narration is great, good character voices and the delivery has a great quirky style to it that works really well with the characters and story.

I enjoyed listening to this book and listening to the narrator.
As always this author delivered another great story and I always enjoyed listening to this narrator she makes the story come to life.

Story was ok

Narrator voice is better reading none sexual book. Listening to her voice feels like I am listening to my grandma reading story to me.

I wish

I wish Audrey lusk would stop narrating. There I are so many titles that have spiked my interest until I hear it’s Audrey lusk narrating. I have so meant title am stuck with cause I thought I could listen to it for under an hour but I could not. Sorry find another narrator.
