PERFECT FOR A MINI SERIES!

It's rare that I come across a series where the 2nd, 3rd, and so on book is as good as or better than it's previous book. (Does that make sense)? I've gotten to where I actually avoid series where all the books are based on the same couple, because they are always disappointing after the 1st book.

I have listened to close to a 1,000 books and this is the first time I've said a 'book series' would make a great mini series for tv. It's that good.

This book is full of drama, suspense, intrigue, mystery and romance. It moves at a fast pace and doesn't have a lot of inner dialogue or reiteration, which is very annoying to me. There's no cliffhanger but there is a lot to look forward to in book 4 The King Takes a Bride.

If you've listened to Heir Untamed and; King and Kingdom you will not be disappointed with Heir in Exile.

Danielle Bourdon is a new favorite author of mine. She knows how to write a series. All of the books are in print if you don't want to wait for the audio.

Angela Dawe has become a favorite performer of mine. She creates male and female voices for many characters and each is distinguishable.

Worth a credit/$$ Absolutely. I'll listen to this series over and over. It's a keeper!
