What the Critics Say

"Roberts is triumphant in realizing fully developed characters, as both Trevor and Darcy turn out to be vulnerable human beings with appealingly ordinary hopes and dreams." (Publishers Weekly)

Bored

Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors but this book bored me. I listened for almost 3/4 of the book but it just didn't hold my interest. The narrator really bugged me, her fake irish accent was the worst. If I heard her say "tink" in place of "think" one more time I would have had to throw my iPod across the room. The bigggest problem was that after a point I didn't care about the characters enough to continue. The story just wasn't interesting enough for me to keep listening. I've been a member of audible for 3 years and have hundreds of titles this is only the 2nd book I wasn't able to finish.

Heart of the Sea

Would you consider the audio edition of Heart of the Sea to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version but I would assume so.. listening to a story about the Irish with someone reading it with the Irish accent adds to the story.

Any additional comments?

I was sad when the series was over, I loved listening to Irish having Irish background my self. Feeling like old friends who are now gone .
