A wealthy businessman with Irish blood, Trevor Magee has come to Ardmore to build a theater - and to uncover the secrets hidden in his family’s past. He thought he had given up on love long ago, but Darcy Gallagher tempts him like no woman ever has. She’s gorgeous and intelligent, and she knows what she wants - and he’s more than willing to give it to her. Critic reviews

"Roberts is triumphant in realizing fully developed characters, as both Trevor and Darcy turn out to be vulnerable human beings with appealingly ordinary hopes and dreams." ( Publishers Weekly)

Should be a movie.

In need of a man and a woman to read it. It would make it easier for someone's imagination to "see" the story.

Wrong voice

I love these stories, but the voice of the narrator was too harsh. Needed a softer tone.
Also, I wish the language was a little cleaner.

wonderful stories

I like the books they were very interesting. I like listening to the Irish customs and the drama of the curse. And how it was resolved. I like the narrator but it was a little hard to listen to three stories with the same narrator.

As always Nora Roberts is a good read

I do enjoy Nora Roberts books, but I only gave this trilogy a 4 because the reader does not do as good of a job as she could have. She does get better as she goes on with the books, it seemed to take her some time to put the feeling into the words that they need. All in all though a very good trilogy and well worth the time.

It was nice

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If they were finishing up the series then I would. Otherwise, I don't think so. Not my favorite Nora Roberts book. It had a lot to do with material things. And I wasn't pleased with the end. After 3 books hearing about Gwen and the Fairy Prince and we don't even get a beautiful reunion. Just a "hey, look there in the sky, they're together again." I felt that we should have at least had a chance to experience a romantic reunion after them being separated for 300 years.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the ghosts and the other characters best in this story. Darcy and Trevor were not my favorite couple.

Have you listened to any of Patricia Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love the different voices she has. I can tell which character is which just by her voice which is nice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Aiden and Jude having the baby was sweet.

Loved it!

I was hoping there would be an epilogue to find out if Darcy did become a singer and how the siblings recording went. And also how the theater opening went and how it was received.

Irish family ties.

I loved the trilogy with each story told of each girl. If only life were like the story! I love this kind of story I can see it in my head. I have been to Ireland 3 times I loved each one. Thank you.
