Good Book, Good Narrator

This has always been one of my Jo Bev's favorite books and I was delighted to see it [finally] as an offering. USUALLY, this narrator is not a favorite of mine, however, I must say that she did a MUCH better job narrating this book and I hope that she continues in this same vein.

Now, when is Audible going to bring out "Three Heroes", "Christmas Angel, and "Forbidden" to round out the Company of Rogues series?

One of my all-time favorites

I have read this story as a book many times, and was excited to see the narrated version was part of the romance package. The narration was well done.

It's hard for me to pinpoint exactly what has made this book stand out from the many romance novels I have read. I like that the hero and heroine aren't necessarily typical, that the heroine uses her head a lot, even though she doesn't make the best choice every time (like all of us), that she seriously considers the ramifications of making a possibly unsuitable choice, rather than superficially assuming love and infatuation will solve everything. Jo Beverley's writing and characters are engaging, as always - she will be sorely missed.
