Average story and average narration

What would have made Half Girlfriend better?

Narration by someone familiar with Hindi, as there are Hindi dialogues and words used in the book. For example, a dialogue like "Deti hai to de varna katle" - the dialogue that changes Riya's attitude towards Madhav would have sounded better if it had the necessary emotion it required.

What was most disappointing about Chetan Bhagat’s story?

A very average typical Bollywood like story. Initially I was confused if I was listening to "2 States", previous novel from Chetan Bhagat.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Christopher Simpson?

Considering there are lot of Indian references including a few dialogues/words in Hindi, someone who is familiar with the language would have done a better jon

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

captivating story.

it helps when an Indian story is narrated by an Indian. there are some colloquial words and sentences being used, which did not come out well. The story is beautiful and the narration with its limits was also flawless.
