I love C.M. Stunich books and this did not disappoint. Smooth transition with the guys

love this series, but narration did make it hard to listen to

while this is the first reverse harem/why choose book series I ever read several years ago and the reason I fell in love with this genre, the narration made it hard to listen to at times. The worst is how they just speak the song lyrics in this monotone voice that is just cringey. And the voice for Paxton just doesn't fit his character as it just sounds a bit too feminine and definitely doesn't give rockstar vibes. I also found Ransom's use of nicknames to be a little cringey in the audio version, but had no problem with it when I read the actual books. if you don't like explicit spicy scenes then this definitely isn't the series for you because there is more spice than real plot to this series.

This series is just one that I can come back to often and it has so much depth that I feel like I get something new from it every time. If you love relationship development, personal growth, pulling on your heart strings, fast burn, and a freaking good story, I highly recommend this series. I seriously cant say enough good things about it! loved every minute of it!

Reverse Harem. I kept seeing this description and had no idea what everyone was talking about. This was not my first menage so I knew there would be a lot of hot sex and a lot of emotions. And great goodness there was plenty of both! This story is one full of grief, death, love, loss, mental illness, past abuse, and inner darkness. But it isn't overly agnsty because its focused more on the healing.
The 5 band members of Beauty and Lies are broken and beautiful men. They play their music with pain. Lilith Tempest Goode is the balm to their wounds as they worship her mind, body, and soul. Obviously there is group sex and you can feel their pain and pleasure through CM Stunich’s words. Whatever Lily needs – they can provide.

This was a sexy and sweet reverse harem romp! Lots of sexy bits and still managed to bring some deep layers of emotion and heart. I enjoyed this walk on the wild side!

Addicting

I didn't expect to like this so much, but I should have known considering it was written by C.M. Stunich. Both the story and the performance were amazing. Now, I'm off to start the 2nd book.

this is a great book cm is amazing in all things I think this is definitely already a classic RH such a great moving story with really rich well-developed characters. it's emotional and meaningful and insightful and enjoyable all the same time. And the narration was great this narrator is one of the best narrators I've ever heard I've also heard her on the veil Diaries and she's great she really embodies her characters. the male name reader was good too but the female narrator is just the best female narrator I've heard on Audible thus far overall this is a great audiobook so worth it

Amazing Author!!

Loved this book and LOVE this Author. She really puts her heart into her work. This is the second of her books that I have listened to, I listened to Allison’s Adventures in Under Land first and are looking forward to the rest of that series. Rock-Hard Beautiful Series is fantastic!! I’m on my way to book 2 in this series right now. Beauty & Lies ROCKS!!!
