Publisher's summary

Warning: This book contains mature content and is not recommended for listeners under 17.

Alayna Withers' relationship with Hudson Pierce has tested both her and his ability to trust. They decide that the only way they can move forward together is with open doors and transparency. It won't be easy for the scarred lovers, but they're committed to each other more now than ever. Alayna, in particular, has grown through their trials, and has emerged more confident and faithful to the man she loves.

But while the pair is focused on the future, their past shows up again to threaten their fragile bond. Promises that were made are broken, and Alayna learns that Hudson still has very potent secrets - secrets that will tear them both apart. As much as she feels for him, her ability to forgive and forget is tested beyond her limits.

Even though she found the only man who could fix her, a forever with Hudson seems more and more out of reach.

Wonderful Conclusion

...first of all, I seldom gravitate towards story's where the female character does the chasing. But this author did such a fanTAStic job of keeping things even/equal, that I simply could NOT put this book down if I tried.

Alayna Withers is a 26 yr. old Bartender/Promotions Manager at The Sky Launch Club, recently purchased by Hudson Pierce. Alayna (Laynie) is an exquisitely beautiful and extremely intelligent woman who lost her parents at an early age, causing many serious insecurities for her to deal with. One such insecurity; fixating or obsessing on men she involves herself with to the point of stalking them. She's like an alcoholic who walks into a bar but decides she can withstand the temptation as long as the bottles are sealed....not possible...hence, no relationships. But all her good intentions of "no relationships" change when she meets Hudson Pierce...(book #1) Fixed on You (Volume 1)

Hudson Pierce is a 29 year old wealthy and successful businessman with a Celebrity Status, and he's just purchased the Club that Laynie works at. He's drop dead gorgeous with all his muscles and he naturally oozes and exudes raw, hot sex...more than hot, he's a blazing volcano. His voice is hypnotic and his demeanor is cold, controlled and controlling. Hudson says exactly what's on his mind - - precisely. His eyes are all piercing and nothing is missed by him. He reads body language well. He's arrogant, consuming, complex and very bitter. Hudson has been conditioned to believe he's incapable of love (Sociopathic) - - either intentionally by his mother or unintentionally by his therapist, or both; he believes it's true since he's used and manipulated women into thinking he was in love with them, and then dumping them...destroying them. In spite of what Hudson thinks of himself, Laynie feels that Hudson is very capable of feeling love. After all, (she says), he feels "regret" and "remorse" and is so traumatized over his past actions against women...that alone should prove that he's capable of caring.....that shows humanity.

In this final installment, Alayna and Hudson are working together through their mutual trust issues - - building honesty and trying to stabilize an already fragile relationship. Hudson has let Alayna in where nobody has ever been allowed before. He's allowed her to see and know most of the hidden secrets of his past. She not only becomes his reason for breathing, she's air itself. She's the thrum of his pulse and every whisper of his conscience.

I absolutely loved this final episode of the The Fixed Trilogy. Outstanding closure. We find for the first time in his life, Hudson finally knows what it means to love and be loved. He begins to be aware of small acts of love everywhere he goes....things that have always been right in front of him daily. He comes to realize that Laynie is everything he ever needed and never knew he wanted. SUPERB!

...and OMG!!! Liesl......Liesl had GOT to be the best sub-character comedy relief in these stories. I absolutely adore her! At any rate this is a fabulous ending full of the drama of living with and dealing with mental/emotional disorders...very well told..this Author did a superb job reeling the reader into the lives of these characters. Bravo and job well done Ms. Paige...and all I can say is....MORE!

IT SIMPLY TOOK MY BREATH AWAY

Well WOW, I'm emotionally drained after listening to the heartbreaking shocking finale to this intensely addictive, compelling, emotional, hot and eventually beautiful love story that Hudson and Laynie fought so desperately for over the whole Fixed trilogy storyline.

I've lost friends, lost sleep, lost time and been mildly threatened with divorce but, as this intense, passionate, sexy, storyline plays out with its full and richly described scenes with very heartbreaking secrets and surprises, all the overwhelming desperation and despair, the loveable/hateful characters and the climactic nail-biting ending, I was left utterly emotionally drained but also deliriously ecstatic.

Worth a credit? It was so well written, so well described, so well narrated and it's storyline and characters were so well thought out that all I can finally say is that it was so very well worth the three credits for this haunting awesome trilogy.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED!!!!!

My previous review of book 2 and 3 is a reiteration here, but I'll gladly say it all again because this series is EVERYTHING!!! If you've heard book one and loved it, it's a given you'll be drawn into the remainder of this incredible series. This series is definitely one of the hotter books I've heard, but it's also a constant mind screw. Every other scene is writhe with hotness, and all the build up and wonderment about Hudson's secrets had not only Alayna pulling out her 'crazy', I felt like I was as well! Overall this book, and the series had me in it's grips from start to finish. Bonus - Get the book HUDSON, it fills in all the missing pieces and makes the overall series that much better!

Will Forever Stay in my Heart

Any additional comments?

I absolutely love Laurelin Paige’s writing style and Forever With You does not disappoint... This amazingly emotional trilogy will forever stay in my heart... The story begins right after Found in You ends and launches right into more delicious romance and intense chemistry between Alayna and Hudson. I loved this attentive and romantic side of Hudson! There are still lots of external forces conspiring to drive a wedge between these new lovers’ relationship. Plus, Alayna has her own demons to deal with which make her behavior at times very maddening! This book inspired a lot of emotion in me and I was really worried that she would be the one to drive the two of them apart:

Hudson does all that he can possibly do under the circumstances to persuade Alayna that his feelings for her are genuine and real. But her obsessive nature bubbles to the surface on more than one occasion.

Hudson also seems to be keeping something from Alayna despite their promises to be completely honest and open with each other. There is a very compelling story-line here that is very creative and emotional. At times, I feared that Hudson’s behavior, not Alayna's, would destroy their relationship. I don’t want to give any spoilers away but rest assured that this book is packed with some totally HOT sex scenes and a fantastic story-line. It is a fabulous conclusion to the series! I highly recommend this yummy trilogy and I hope "that maybe there will be more written about these characters in the future... :)

Alayne and Hudson Are Together For Now

If you could sum up Forever with You in three words, what would they be?

Trust your feelings. They love each other and must get through some bad times to know that they do love each other enough to address their secrets together.

What other book might you compare Forever with You to and why?

This is probably like a lot of books about love and obsession and sex but none come to mind. I found the issues that Alayne and Hudson address refreshing in that they know they have problems, he knows he screwed up, and she knows he screwed up, but they love each other and will find a way to be together.

What does Carly Robins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She makes the characters live in the listener's mind. Her ability to convey the pain and lust they feel is not possible when read in print.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A couple of places I wanted to throw it across the room but since I was listening on my iPad I resisted. It was a good book.

Book 3 in this trilogy, plus add HUDSON as 4th.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This trilogy was interesting from book one through the additional HUDSON. They used more street language instead of the upper crust, expected language. This added an extra humor to the book.

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that all of the ducks got into the row at the end and karma was swiftly given, though money helped it along.

What does Carly Robins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I am more able to visualize the characters in the books. The story comes more to life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The situations were funny, where they were supposed to be, and serious, when needed to be. It is funny to see so many wealthy people indulging in such low brow (get even) with others, to sway the man.

Any additional comments?

Am not into sequels or cliffhanger books, but with these, the urgency was in me to follow each as written. So much dysfunctional rich families.

Two steps forward, 10 steps back....

Part III: Finally, there is an ending in sight! Lanie and Hudson have aired out MOST of there crazies but there is still a few things to iron out...Hudson has a secret that could end things. Lanie goes all bonkers. Add in a few hot guys, a few hot chicks and the jealousy is insane. 'H' finally realize he can love, Lanie realizes she can't forgive anything. In the end we get to hear the epilogue in Hudson's own voice and sigh at how lovely the possibility of HEA is!

Series started great

I loved book 1 and enjoyed book 2, but I am so tired of Alayna constantly whining and weakness. I understand some insecurities early in a relationship... but seriously her character is beyond annoying. I finished the book just to complete the story line.

Best of the series

What did you love best about Forever with You?

I think my favorite part was the glimpse of Hudson's view at the end.

What other book might you compare Forever with You to and why?

I would compare this to the Crossfire series. It is not as good, but this was definitely my favorite of the series.

What does Carly Robins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like her narration as Alyana. But sometimes when she was portraying Hudson, she slipped into her feminine voice. It was a bit noticeable. This was my least favorite performance of the three books.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think the moment that stands out for me is the moment towards the end in Hudson's loft. His smile at seeing her is a moment that sticks with me.

Any additional comments?

As a mental health counselor, please research a mental disorder before throwing it around. Nothing about Hudson made him diagnosable as a psychopath, but for some reason he believed it. If anything, his mother was the crazy one. I hope that's what the author was going for.
