I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.
I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I've poured my soul into my music, but I've never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile. And now I'm going back.
After ten years. I hope I can explain that after all this time.
I still want her to be my forever girl.

I liked the story, but not the female narrator
Good Story. I liked the male narrator as he seemed to be able to capture the feel of the story appropriately. Female needed to remember that we don't always speak as if we are using our bedroom voice at breakneck speeds. I didn't like her at all. All of the Josey chapters were a waste to listen to. Sorry, but that is the point of audible version vs. print version. A good narrator is almost as important as a good story. I was dissappointed in that side, but I will still read the stories, just not listen to them if this female is included.
Greg Albany - Yes. Elizabeth Ann Rollins - No,.
I wonder if the author ever listens to the audible version of their book to see if they would listen to the narrators reading it? If I were this author, I would want a redo.
