"Elise Sax will win your heart." --Jill Shalvis

"Fans of laugh-out-loud romantic suspense will enjoy this author as she joins the ranks of Janet Evanovich, Katie MacAllister, and Jennifer Crusie."--Booklist

The Five Wishes Series is five hot and hilarious novellas about wishes that go terribly wrong…fortunately. Each novella is roughly 100 pages with NO cliffhanger. Five Wishes...A happy ending is just a coin toss away.

Book 1: Going Down:
Marion MacAlister wants to nail her audition, not get nailed. Truly. Honestly. All right...maybe she does want to get nailed, but that's just because her hottie landlord and local diner owner Mack Ryan is confusing her. Can friends become lovers? Especially friends who might not even be friends in the first place?

Book 2: Man Candy:
Raine Harper is in love with Wade Gates. But Wade likes women who are model thin, and Raine is model thin plus a whole lot of pounds. Desperate to make him love her, she trains just a little too hard and passes out in the arms of superstar movie star Dirk Adams. Dirk thinks Raine’s junk in the trunk is perfect and proposes to make Wade jealous by becoming her pretend boyfriend. Pretend soon seems very real. Is Dirk a great actor, or is something really developing between Raine and the movie star?

Book 3: Hot Wired:
Marie Foster is not a cheater. Nevertheless, she gets thrown out of college for doing just that. With her life turned upside down, she decides to try new things. You know…Get drunk in a bar. Pick up a guy. Marry a stranger, who just happens to be a hot billionaire.

Book 4: Just Sacked:
Layla has been working at her family’s bar since she was five years old. But it’s more than a bar. It’s home. Now with her family gone and debts piling up, her bar is repossessed and taken over by local businessman Hank Taylor.

Too Funny!

I loved it. This story is hilarious. Five women make a wish at this dilapidated fountain in town, only the well is dried out and all cracked therefore screwing up all their wishes entirely! The narration is really good and keeps you entertained. This author did a great job with her characters and plot. A job well done! I did not like this book and did not finish

I gave up after listening to the beginning of the third story. The series is funny, but the narrative of the sex scenes was to raunchy and juvenile for me to listen. I picked this book thinking it would be similar to Janet Ivanovich 's funny style it is NOT.

This is a great book series all wrapped up in one package. Great romance wrapped up in a great story which is sometimes rare! Thanks for the great read

Dirk likes Raine the way she is and proposes to become her pretend boyfriend to make Wade jealous. Hot Wired (Five Wishes #3) was a great read by Elise Sax. Marie Foster is not a cheater but finds herself thrown out of college for cheating. She decides to try new things, like getting drunk in a bar and picking up a guy. She finds herself marrying a stranger who just so happens to be a hot billionaire. Just Sacked (Five Wishes #4) was a great read by Elise Sax. Layla has worked at her family’s bar since she was five years old. To her, it is more than just a bar, it’s home. Her family is now gone and she finds her debts piling up. Her bar becomes reposed and taken over by local businessman Hank Taylor. Hank offers Layla her bar back, if she can win a drinking contest. She’s never lost a drinking contest in her life. They wake up together, naked and handcuffed together in Mexico. Wicked Ride (Five Wishes #5) was a good read by Elise Sax. Waste of a credit

The story lines were awful! The narrator was able to further make each character sound like a complete moron. I rarely review but in this case I felt it necessary to warn other readers who, like me, were looking for short and sweet stories. I ended up rolling my eyes at the idiocy of the characters and the only reason I finished all the stories was because I had used a credit to purchase. Sorry Elise and Angie but dang...these audio books could be used as torture devices.

This is so not it!

First it’s Channing Tatum not Tatum Channing.
Second, the character is just incredibly daft.
There is no real story here and the dialogue sounds like a 15 year old point of view on life

Terrible narrater

I had to stop listening about a hour into the book. Angie Hickman makes the woman in this book sound so terribly stupid. It was a complete bore. I wish you all had someone else narrate this book.

I am not in love with this series...

I loved the men characters and they were the only thing that saved this series for me. The females, with the exception of 1 - seemed like clueless airhead that made me want to reach out and smack them!

Fun Romcoms

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I love this narrator. While listening to all these stories, she gave a voice to each character. I love that. I enjoyed each story separately. The only thing I didn't like is that I want more. I would read more about these characters. I want to know more. I would also read more from this author.
