Would you consider the audio edition of Fire and Ice to be better than the print version?
I read the print versions of books 1 and 2 - now I have the audio as i think the narrator made a difference.
What did you like best about this story?
I really got involved in this story. To me these were real men showing respect for each other, I feel is so often missing in other books except in a cursory sort if way. The love and respect shown was beautifully rendered through the unfolding story-line. I found I overlooked some supportive character stereotyping as I followed Jos and Kip on their heart-warming journey.
What does Randy Fuller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I felt Randy 'nailed' the adult characters mannerisms. Good pace, good tone and good character differentiation added to the story. Though his voice-over of Issac did 'grate'. An adult imitating a 3 year old child was always going to be a challenge!
Any additional comments?
To me the Carlisle Cops series is tuning out to be just as good as 'The Range' series. I hope there are many more books to come.
