Cheesy and overly sweet

The story is not bad, but sadly the incredibly cheesy and corny dialogue almost make this into a parody. And what makes it all worse it's the male narrator reading this incredibly mushy stuff with a slow breathy voice. It really sounds like a joke. The female narrator would have been good if not for the fact that she sounded like she was in a race to finish reading as fast as she could, delivering her lines sometimes emotionless encause of her speed.

This has got to be the best feel good love story I have read. I loved this book!

Filthy Rich #1

I love this book from the beginning to the end. Raine Miller left no words untold amongst Caleb and Brooke. Can't wait for the next book to be written in this series.

Very enjoyable story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. Loved the story, although it didn't seem very plausible, the end completely tied it together. Great ending!
The characters were all very well developed, where you could love or hate them - even the secondary characters.
The narrators did a great job. The only criticism is that after their pauses, a lot of the beginning words were cut off. That's a little distracting.

Those voices.....

The story was good but when Mr. York spoke as "Brooke" it was creepy. Ms. Frances (Brooke) talked too fast. This audible would have been better if both Mr. York and Ms. Frances spoke as their respective character.

delightful

I thought the book was sweet there's not much drama to it more of a love story. spoiler alert the women has a lot of emotion due to an accident however I found it annoying that she cried so much I guess my preference are strong characters. as for Caleb he did a great job sweet. I love my narrator Jeremy he has one of the nicer the sexiest voice right now you have to say I'm normally not fond of his female part voice but he did this one pretty well

An engaging book.


Jeremy York & Sienna Frances are wonderful narrators.

They brought the characters to life.

Brooke has suffered heartache in the past and was reluctant to enter into a relationship with Caleb.

I loved how patient he was with her , how understanding and supportive.

Would you be willing to try another book from Raine Miller? Why or why not?

Yes.

Raine miller writes stories that guarantee a satisfying HEA.

The journey isn't easy, but life isn't easy.

Her characters are real, as are their struggles.

What about Jeremy York and Sienna Frances ’s performance did you like?

They contemplated one another beautifully.

You could fee the chemistry between the characters because the writing was good but the narration added another more deep layer to it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I had to know what happened next.

Caleb is an alpha male used to getting his way. Brooke might be vulnerable but isnt a push over.

I loved seeing Caleb change and grow in his efforts to win her over.

In the end, they not only found HEA, Caleb was also able to let go of the past.

He learned some truths about himself that set him free.

Insta-Love

First, I have a really hard time with Insta-love and this book has about 2 conversations before they are saying they love each other. I just can not feel the connection between the characters when they only know what each other looks like and have a few meaningless conversations. Once I got past that and they were together a little while I really did start to like their relationship. I loved the reaction they both has at their "surprise". The second half of this book was really sweet and loving and sexy.

Narration was was great, I love Jeremy York and really enjoyed Sienna Frances too.

Narrators dragged

The story had potential but the narration was horrible. Jeremy York is usually ok but he was so boring in this narration, really slow and hard to listen to. I struggled to finish.
