Publisher's summary

Jules Montgomery is too busy and content with her life to worry about a man, especially one Nate McKenna. If growing up with four brothers has taught her anything, she knows to stay away from sexy men with tattoos and motorcycles. That goes double if he's your boss. During the one incredible night they shared, he violated the no fraternization policy...among other things, and it won't happen again. Jules won't risk her career for mind-blowing sex, no matter how much her body and her damn heart keep arguing with her. Nate McKenna could give a shit about the no fraternizing policy. He wants Jules and he'll have her.

The rules could bend around them, or be damned. He's not a man to be taken lightly, and Jules Montgomery is about to find out just how he responds to being pushed aside after the best night of sex he's ever had. She can fight all she wants, but he'll have her in his bed in the end. Fight With Me is the second novel in the With Me In Seattle Series.

Very good Book

What made the experience of listening to Fight With Me the most enjoyable?

I listen to my books on my way to and from work. I found myself wanting to take the long way because the book was so good.

Jules & Nate - Forbidden office romance.

I enjoyed hearing Jules' story, especially with the things that happened between her and Nate in book 1, Come Away with Me. Nate had some moments where he was really controlling of Jules in an unhealthy way. That was concerning. Aside from one scene, Jules never made an issue of it or put him in his place. Why? She's a strong, independent, intelligent woman. It just seemed quite unhealthy (a thought I had many times while listening to the book). I think that was the one downside to the story line of this book for me. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it and am excited to move onto the next book, Play with Me. As with the books 1 and 1.5 of the series, the book is told almost entirely from the female's prospective via a female narrator, Jennifer Mack. The only point at which this changes is for the epilogue, where we finally got to hear from Nate.

well..

Would you consider the audio edition of Fight With Me to be better than the print version?

The truth is I read the first in the series and the ordered several of the others. I unfortunately felt as if I was reading the first book all over again but change the name and occupations. This book had less storyline and more sex, which is not a bad thing but there is no build up and it becomes repetitive and sadly somewhat boring. I'm on book three and they all say the same dialog! You could do well..sadly to
to buy book 1 enjoy it and move on. Sorry
read one and leave the rest! Sorry..

Would you be willing to try another book from Kristen Proby? Why or why not?

I'm not sure .

What about Jennifer Mack’s performance did you like?

She was great..but not for all the books it did not help when the book felt like a replay of the first.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Nope

Not a single dull moment

This book is a part 2 in the With Me in Seattle Series. Note to all that read this review. I did not read the first book. After reading book 2 I will be rounding back to book 1. Our heroine fell in lust then love with her boss and was thrown under the bus by another woman ( that kills me). I really feel that all of her anger was justified and I like that she has a friend that calls her on her shit. The Narrators were also awesome. You will not be disappointed.

pubis?

the storyline is pretty good. I wish there was a lot more sex. it's just not steamy enough. also.. every book in this series uses the word pubis a lot. it's something I've never heard refereed to so much.

For my first romance novel

For my first romance novel I enjoyed it. The story I felt had too much sex, as in that’s just not a realistic expectation but then I reminded myself it’s a romance novel. The story was great, I became invested into their story and actually looked forward to me time so I could listen. The criticism I have is... the girl doing Nate’s voice... you had a male reader for the last chapter... just saying... over all I surprisingly enjoyed it and I’m going to listen to the next one.

One night trist is all it takes

When you're at a company party and you end up sleeping with your boss. The walk of shame is not something you want to do so you sneak out. Little did you know he was the one you have been waiting for all your life.

Nate Nate Nate

What can I say about Jules and Nate....I love their story. The heat between the couple is smokin' hot; they are both strong characters who have to learn to work together through all the hickups. I kept waiting for the shoe to drop and their relationship to be exposed and I was surprised by how it came about. Not what I was expecting. This was well worth acredit or purchase.

I was a bit bored!

Nate and Jules are both very perfect looking, tall, sexy, gorgeous, smart, hard working, very hot for each other and how could you not, and he is also very rich. Nate also showers her with expensive gifts and gives her a no limit card to Neiman's. So extremely generous too. Guys like that are a dime a dozen as we all know. Oh and all other characters are also perfect looking and kind and tall and.... One character was beautiful but not so nice so of course she got fired but others are all kind and thoughtful and even good looking. Nate and Jules were both so perfect that you wonder where the excitement of the book would come from. And of course there was not much excitement. I was a bit bored and found myself zoning off throughout the book especially during sex scenes. I usually like that added sex to well written stories but I don't like it to be the main attraction with no story to carry it along. Not to ruin the book for anyone but they fall very hard for each other then less than two weeks of dating they both admit to being in love with the other. Oh yes and the moving in together happened as quickly as well. The story was unrealistic enough that I found it hard to identify with the characters. I'm glad I got this book on sale or I would have not been happy right now.

I also really dislike Jennifer Mack's narration as a man. Her male voices sound young, choking as if they have something stuck in their throats and irritating although her female voice is good. I personally can't get into a male character with a voice like that.
