Narration was perfection!!!
Wow! I thought Fear Me was fantastic... Fear You is even better!! Keiran is one major off the charts alpha with a major helping of crazy. If I had one complaint, it would be the fact that these characters are 18 and 19, it makes some of the situations hard to believe and the lacking parental involvement odd. I did enjoy this Fear You immensely and can't wait for book 3!!
This second book gives us way more insight to Keiran. We learn a lot about his past, about Lily and why he treated Lake the way he did in the first book. It was needed for me! I had a hard time liking him. Lake finally grew a backbone!! Even though Keiran seems to have toned downed his whole attitude, his true personality is still right under the surface waiting to be released. He was alot softer with Lake this time around but I think it's because how much stress he was under of trying to protect everyone.
There was lots more drama in this one because now there are more people after Keiran and the people in his life. We also get to start finding out about Lake's parents and secrets her Aunt has been keeping. What I really liked about this book is getting to see what happened to Keiran and why he is the person he has become. Having both points of view was really nice. The dual narrators were perfect! Loved it!!

Okay, so I really tried to like this series. The thing is, it’s such a negative and unrealistic story that I found myself wanting to just stop listening. In this audiobook, the main characters are high school kids and they have such dark outlook on everything that it became depressing. The subjects of child slavery, rape, murder, blackmail, coerced sex, etc. are so casually introduced that I kind of worry for the authors mental health. I had listened to the first disturbing book and I gave the second a fair chance, but I’m not going to listen any further in this series. There are also so many characters with so many intertwined connections that the story becomes rather confusing as well. The narration was really well done however. Sorry, but this series is done for me.
