Publisher's summary

It's been years since my mother was in my life.

I healed.

I learned to accept love.

I lived.

That's all done. She was away, and now she's back.

I avoided her for a year and a half, but I couldn't hide anymore.

Mason had an internship in Fallen Crest, so we headed back for the summer.

And when we got there - no one was prepared for what happened.

Who really wrote this book? Cause it wasn't Tijan.

I swear this book was NOT written by Tijan. I love her and all her books but this book sounded like someone who only read one or two and tried to continue the story. I listened through the whole thing twice Before writing this review. They're so many inconsistencies that anyone who have read the books would know immediately. Such as...

#1 Becky's last name being Salloway and not Sullivan. She switched her from being Jeff's cousin to Tate's. I didn't know you could just pick and choose who your cousins are at any given time. Jeff even mentions that Becky was his FRIEND and not related at all.

#2 Sam brings up losing her siblings but says "I lost my little brother or sister" even though we know for a fact that they were going to be twins so it's both.

#3 Mason gets frustrated that he forgot to use a condom with Sam as if it was the first time he's ever forgotten. However, we know from the previous books that he didn't use one in Los Angeles but it was OK because Sam is on birth control and they're both clean.

#4 Sam definitely did know Sharon cheated on Garrett even though she says she didn't know about her past faithfulness.

#5 Sam saw her mother with a bag of coffee beans in the store and says she's never seen her drink coffee before, only tea. That was a complete lie since it's a huge point of discussion in the first book. She tries to drink tea right after moving into the Kade mansion Sam had never seen her drink tea before. Later in the book, her mom is drinking coffee again and said she couldn't stand drinking the tea.

There are some more examples but it doesn't read like an author who remembers what they wrote. Does she not read her own stories? I've finished both series already and Becky becomes Becky Salloway again in later books. If it was really Tijan's own writing in this book and not a ghostwriter, then I hope it's just a one-off because I would love to read more of her work but not if she doesn't know her own stories.

She is getting on my nerves

Has no one gotten a bit tired of Samantha? I have enjoyed the series. Samantha has got on my nerves throughout all of them. Out of them all she is the one to forgive even though she has been the one who has the most reason to forgive coming from where she started to where she is at this point. Poor Becky didn't really do anything to her not anything terrible like barricade her in a dark bathroom to quad team her or even talk trash about her behind her back. Samantha knew Becky was in love with Adam back when everything went down and she has just been whipping on her every since. She knew that Adam was using Becky to hang out with her but she never told her "her friend Becky". Maybe she wouldn't have been so mad if she had done what she needed to do when she healed and whipped each on of those girls behinds straight up and dirty she had three guys by her side to make sure it went down fair and square, it's justice and Natalie wouldn't have had anything to brag about the next year. I don't know why Becky kept coming back cause she said the same thing she said the first time after Adam confessed about lying to Becky about her but she never really gave her a chance to build back up to being a friend. Samantha is just plain mean in this book and I and trouble as well of all the places to go ..... Russo territory and she stayed.....really??. Then of all the places to work for the summer the shady carnival???? Adam had tried to date her and it failed, Logan did some messed up things to him constantly and he was honest and said he didn't like them and I didn't blame them and Mason said nothing about it even though those girls won't right that was besides the point.

Major eye roll

Sam created nothing but problems for mason through this whole book. I’m convinced she is dam near retarded! She constantly brings up things from the past & is always liking for sympathy it’s ridiculous.

Love this series

I love the Fallen Crest series. Another amazing read by Tijan. I am glad I waited on this one though until the next book was already out, because you should be warned, it kinda ends in a cliffhanger.

Huh

It's almost like they ran out of decent villains or something. Adam again?

Still the secrets and such are starting to get old. But I am completely in love with Mason.

He's amazing!

Ok

This book was not my favourite book on FC series. I didn’t’ understand Sam in many situations - so it was hard to relate to her. Mason is her rock. I really liked his character development. And I love the love they have. But I had to struggle little bit with this one.

SECRETS. MYSTERY. BETRAYAL. CONSPIRACY. VIOLENCE.

Tijan is an AMAZING and SKILLFUL Writer. Every book of hers that I've have had the opportunity to listen to, I've enjoyed and given 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ across the board to.

"Fallen Crest Home, Book 6" of the (Fallen Crest Series.) I'm emotional attached to the whole series from the beginning. The Family attachment is grouped off unlike the common ones as you will learn if you are following the Series as I am.

The kids are home from College during their summer break. Mason has to complete an certain amount of Business Hours in his father's Business Company; a requirement of his Business Degree. Samantha still doesn't know her direction she's going in college. Logan is going in Communication but since their recent run-in with Becky & Adam Quinn, Logan has decided 2 go into law school. He wants to follow Adam to whatever law school he chooses to go to. He knows it will burn Adam to his core.🔥

Both the Quinns are up to no good when it comes to Mason. The both of them want him to lose him chances at any hope's of at advancement to the NFL and getting removed from the College Football Leagues too. We were left at a CLIFFHANGER...

I don't want to leave without giving some recognition to our narrators, Graham Halstead and Saskia Maarleveld. They're Mason and Samantha they did as usual an AWESOME! EXCELLENT! EXTRAORDINARY! All that they do bring to their characters, I love these two storytellers. They've make me and have me believing that they are the real thing and as I said in previous reviews I sure wish I can give them more than 5-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s I really do they bring out the story and make the story and thank you whoever chooses the voices for these audiobooks because they are they do make this audiobook for me. So let's get it on to the next book; "Fallen Crest Forever, Book 7" so I can find out what is going to be answers to the Cliffhangers. I know you are as excited about it as I am, let's go...

I hate Samantha

Did I listen to the same books previous to this one? There were so many discrepancies and errors in this book that it made me question what was on the previous books??

1. Sharon did cheat on Garrett
2. Who knows if the new kid is even Garrett’s
3. Sam knew about Channing and his bar because heather already told her but then later acted like she didn’t know anything

Gah I can’t think of all of them but those stood out

And OMG I hate Samantha. She’s probably the least likable main female character.

This was the worst book by far. Between wanting to strangle Samantha and banging my head regarding all the errors I was glad this book was over.
