Publisher's summary

Samantha and Mason are together. Everyone knows it. But not everyone is dealing with it. While Mason is ready to give them all the middle finger, there's one who is not going away: her mother. Threats are issued. Ultimatums are given. Even blackmail is used. But only Samantha can put a stop to Analise. However, when a trauma from her past is triggered, she may not have the courage or strength to do what's needed. And if she doesn't, Mason's future could be destroyed.

Love Logan

I liked this book. Interested to find out about Nate and Mason's relationship. there's definately a story there. And holy mean girls; glad i didn't have girls like that at my school and Analise is CRAZY. I love Logan. He's so funny to me

Soo good

This is one of my favorite new adult series. I love the chemistry between all the characters. The tight knit bond that is formed between Sam, Mason and Logan. The drama that unfolds. I could not put it down. Very well written- could not ask for more.

Narration was awesome as always. Great production.

Always come back to this one

I love Tijan as an author and Sam as a character, I do wish she had a bit of self reflection every now and again, this book is an older one and I’m re reading it as I’m older now so that’s probably why I take issue with how she handles something’s but I hope as I continue rereading the series she’s grows a little.

4.5 stars

I liked this book better than the first but the main female character still got on my nerves a little. She complains about being alone but purposely doesn’t tell her boyfriend anything until sh-t hits the fan. Her catatonic melt downs are getting old too. Also nobody communicates! Really if I heard that someone blackmailed someone to keep out of my life, I would be on the phone that second asking what the heck is going on. These are smart people right? Becky took that photo, why don’t they record one of Sams mom’s crazy meltdowns? I feel the next book will be a pivotal book in the series because the drama of the new school and anxiety of Mason leaving for college should be prominent in the next book. Hopefully Samantha will start getting over some of her issues so she’s not so annoying. At least she’s not running or obsessing about running so much.

More twists and turns

I really liked getting to know these characters even more and getting some questions answered and the twists and turns of the story. Narration is done well and it's an entertaining listen the series is meant to be read in order.

Fallen Crest High book 3

Samantha makes me sick. All she does is keep secrets from her friends, wonder why they end up mad. Her and Mason, keeps secrets from Logan. Not only that Sam, let them do things to Adam if it wasn't for Adam her bean pie head *** wouldn't of seen Mason again. All she do is HIDE behind Logan and Mason, like bih get a back bone and speak up, like sheesh girl, all she do is RUN from her problems. At first liked her but after half way through the first book and this book she became annoying as heck. Blah... I hope by the next book, she change. The is she even keep secrets from Mason, I feel like if you want people to trust you why keep secrets them boys there for her but she can be bitch a lot of times in my opinion. She's definitely damaged goods because of her mom, but I think once she rid of her mom she may change. "Maybe" and she still running off to Mason, if he end up in jail, where I know he won't go, I feel like she dc what her mom had to say. Tsk. Like girl neither of you not taking that threat seriously. But still she treats people (Adam), including others, like crap. But steady want hand outs and favors from them. Smh. Like how many times she suspected people to apologize. Her mom is a piece of crap though the way she treats her sheessh.

Excellent series!

High drama in an entertaining story w/o too much angst, lots of fun, and which hits on many of those too-real high school cliches that are cliches for a reason...because they exist and because most of us experienced them at some point. Love the characters (tho did want to bop Samantha on the head for “didn’t feel like talking about it right now” a few too many times—you’d think for such a bright kid, she’d have figured out by now she only makes things worse by doing this) and there’s good dialogue, mostly good grammar usage and no cliffhanger...but I’m ready to jump into next book.

Great story, but...

If I have to hear, "Are you ok"? OR "Hey, hey, hey" OR "Are you kidding me"? one more time!!! Ughhh. All repeated phrases in the book, LOL. Despite that, FMC was much weaker & dumber (my opinion) in this story. Nevertheless, the author did a great job of drawing me in to see how the story would end. Saskia did a good job narrating the entire book. I guess, I'm a glutton for punishment because I am going to listen to the next audiobook in this series.
