Publisher's summary

This is book seven in the series - and it's Stefan's story! Just because a person can see doesn't mean they should look. Celina Wilton was technically blind, a state she wasn't very happy about. In her case, the alternative was worse. So she'd learn to adapt one way or another.

Stefan Kronos has wanted to get close to Celina for a long time, but she has walls that he's been forced to go around in some unusual ways. When a case he's been called to consult on puts her square in his radar, he has to watch his step...and hers. Unraveling the threads twisting between them and a killer like none Stefan has seen before means Celina has to trust him enough to let him inside her barriers. That's when Stefan realizes he's not the only one with eyes into her soul.

eyes to the soul

I think this is one of Dale's best Books so far. she incorporates characters from her other books the storyline is thought-provoking yet entertaining and we get to see more of Stefan's character in this book. I admit I thought I had the end of the book figured out but they all threw up little surprise in at the end looking forward to the next book.

Ending blew me away!

This is one of favorite books by this author the way it unfolded toward the ending and what an ending it was! I didn’t see it coming. I’ll listen again for sure.

Won’t be getting any more in this series

I can say the narrator did a good job. The story was diminished by waaay too many characters, torture scenes, repetition, psychic-babble. It also ended w so many of the top issues unresolved.

Suffered through!

I don’t usually make myself finish a book when I find no redeeming value in it. I did this one. One positive is the surprise ending. This book was slow torture.
