Sweet
What a sweet love story this was. And a really enjoyable listen. Glad the author got the accents right nothing worse than listening to someone trying to do an Australian accent and you get a South African one. I know this being an Aussie myself.

A nice quick read
I received a copy of this audiobook to read and review for Wicked Reads.
I really enjoyed this story. I liked the way the author interspersed the back story with present day.
The narrator did a good job with the accents, but there were times I felt it could have more emotion.
I look foward to reading more from Ms. Quinlan.

A High School Reunion, of sorts
Kai is just a sophomore in high school when he kisses Chloe, a senior. She can't follow up with him due to peer pressure, but years later when they see each other at kite surfing competition, which Kai wins, can they get it back together? I'm guessing there will be Extreme Heat!

I wonder if this would happen like this.
A chance encounter bring two people back after five years since they had last seen each other.
Both had their own memories of their previous encounters. Would that extreme heat still exist today.
You'll have to listen or read this episode, to find out what relationship they had had.
