Publisher's summary

The Boudreaux Series - Sexy. Intriguing. Easy. Gabrielle Boudreaux, the youngest of the Boudreaux clan, is a single mother of her young son, Sam. Running a bed-and-breakfast at the family plantation house at the edge of the Mississippi River, Gabby loves her inn, her boy, and her family. She meets new people every day and takes pride in the house and land that has been in her family for more than five generations. Blessed beyond measure, she's also lonely, although she would never admit that to anyone, until Rhys O'Shaughnessy walks through her door, brooding and wounded and the sexiest thing she's ever laid eyes on.

Rhys has been at the top of his game as a major league pitcher for the Chicago Cubs for more than 10 years. Baseball is in his blood. But when he tears his rotator cuff and has to sit a season out, he retreats to Inn Boudreaux at the recommendation of his cousin, Kate, to heal and work toward building his shoulder back to perfect shape, with only one goal in mind: to return to the game he loves. But he didn't plan on being utterly charmed by a devastatingly beautiful woman and her baseball-loving son. When Rhys' shoulder has healed and he's given the chance to return to his team, will he leave the family he's come to love behind, or will he stay with Gabby and Sam?

Not bad

It was ok, not as good as some of her other books. I will listen to the other books in the series, hopefully they have a bit better story line.

Love the New Orleans Charm

I love book series, and after reading book 1, I loved this family. I really think the books connect together well. I read other Proby books and its cool how she blends parts of them into her other books. I'm getting ready to read book three.

BATERS-UP, GET READY FOR A HOMERUN!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Easy Charm to be better than the print version?

Would read of listen to both, that good..

What did you like best about this story?

The entire story was good, not a slow moment in it. Love the way I can hear from all sides of her family and how he copes with family values. Great Story, Great way to start what could be the beginning to some wonderful books. Love Kristen's take on each character.

Have you listened to any of Sebastian York and Rachel Fulginiti ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Sebastian York is a winner in every story I've listened to, however this is a first for me hearing Rachel Fulginiti on the New Orleans style of her character's. She did a wonderful job. Hope to hear more from her

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

not sure,

Any additional comments?

Yes, again I loved this book. I listen to Kristen's first one with intense pleasure and wanted more, so you can see how excited I was to find this one. But now I hear what's to come, and can't wait, hope it's not long.
I love Kristen's writing and take on life, and how we all have and take things in different perspective. It's real life and how it's all not dreams and wishes. I love this writer and how it all comes full circle for us.
Readers/Listeners, this is a good one, rent it, buy it, listen to it, or read it, but just have at it. It was great. Way to go Writer..

AN EASY LISTENING ROMANCE AS KP DOES IT AGAIN

I love Kristen Proby's books and, as she draws you into the close family dynamics of the Boudreaux family, you become familiar with every one of their characters and love them all then, on top of this, she seamlessly entwines a sweet and sexy romance around it.

Gabby is a strong independent likeable character and a loving Mom and she deserved to find happiness in the arms of the gorgeous Rhys who holds no secrets, has no hang-ups and only wants Gabby and her oh so sweet 7 yr old son Sam. He's a little bit Alpha and very possessive but above all he's kind, thoughtful and the perfect Hero. It's a smooth easy listen with a little bit of drama caused by the 'sperm donor' who helped to create Sam and some tears when there was a miscommunication leading to misunderstandings. Dual POV, good narration and a plot that brings the whole of the Boudreaux family in as well as other likeable characters. There's also passion, lust, sex and romance..... which all leads to a little blue Tiffany's box.

Worth a credit? Yes, and I haven't yet found a Kristen Proby book that wasn't either a 4 or 5 star listen and are always creditworthy.

Easy listen...

I enjoyed the sweet story and romance of this book. As with many love stories it was a bit predictable but the characters are likable as well as believable. Great book for a lazy summer afternoon. I will certainly look for other titles by Kristen Proby.

Wow!!!

Gabby has been hurt badly before but she is determined to take care her son Sam and run her B&B. That is until sexy baseball player Rhys O'Shaughnessy enters her life. He is staying at the B&B to recover and get his pitching arm back. Sam worships him and they instantly create a bond, but nothing compared to the bond that she is forming with Rhys. Gabby wants him but can she take that leap again and not be hurt? I loved this story, I think more so than the first book. Kristen Proby really knows how to pull her readers into a story and leave them caring so deeply about the characters. I can't wait to see what the next book will bring.

Home run

This book offered a great story about two hard working people not looking for love but finding it anyway. It's a smooth, easy listen and enjoyable the entire time. A great book to take your mind off of your problems for a while and leave you with a smile at the end.
