Publisher's summary

The guy who can be whatever he needs to be

The girl who wants to stand on her own

Fun and fast...light and easy

And a dream that just might come true

Eli Graham grew up in foster care, and always tried his best to fit in. He's a people-pleaser, and his talent and temperament bring him success in his sales career at Chapman Financial. He never lets anybody see the lonely guy he hides behind his charm and sparkle. Or the hope for family and connection he can't seem to shake.

Caro Richmond owns her own bakery in Cypress Corners. She suffered a heartbreaking loss three years ago, but it isn't the loss of her fiancé that haunts her. Work is her focus now. She'll leave the living to somebody else.

When Eli comes to work in Cypress, he's immediately taken with Caro. She's gorgeous, but she also seems like she needs some fun in her life. He's just the guy to give it to her. They begin to date, and both of them start to think this might be more than just fun and easy.

Can Eli trust that what he's feeling is something real?

Or is he just dreaming of a future he can never have?

Dreaming Eli

This was a great addition to the Cypress Corners series. You can't help but to just want to take little Eli in and give him a better beginning. He and Caro seem to be just what the other needs to help them move on in life. And are the perfect compliments to each other.

Great Series!

This is a great book; this is the seventh book in the Cypress Corners series written by JoMarie DeGioia and narrated by Wendy Rich Stetson. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

A very sweet romantic story.

Two people who allow themselves to take a chance in love and rewarded for their boldness. This story has some sadness, life situations, passion, and love. Moreover, a lot of romance.
The narrator is great. She was not only able to make male and female voices but also southern and Bostonian access. She made listening to this book very entertaining.

Nice and Easy

This is one of those nice and easy listens on a relaxing day. There aren't a lot of big highs and deep lows, but it has a little depth. And, I really enjoyed the characters in this one. I've listened to every book in this series and enjoyed them. There's not a lot of angst, or drama. But, it's like taking a nice leisure stroll. This one was a bit different from the others in certain ways which I really liked. As much as I loved the "love shack" or tent cabin, I like the newer dynamics in this one.
Wendy Rich Stetson did her usual spot on job. Always a pleasure to listen to her narrate anything.

A trip to Cypress Corners is well worth it!

I love my trips to Cypress Corners! This book is about Eli, a guy who grew up in the foster system, and Caro, a woman who is hiding a very hurtful past. The two come together hesitantly at first, but the fireworks soon take over. Eli is so sweet to Caro! She owns her own bakery and has those awful baker hours. Eli is always understanding and encouraging in getting her to sleep at a reasonable hour. He's warm, supportive and sexy without being demanding.
Everyone knows that Caro lost her fiance in a car crash, but no one knows the most painful part of that time for her. If she trusts Eli enough to tell him, could it lead to a future for them? Could Eli finally get the family he deserves?
I listened to the audio version of this narrated by Wendy Rich Stetson. The narration was easy to listen to and enjoyable! I'm ready for my next trip to Cypress Corners!
