Publisher's Summary

Sara Barnes thought her life was perfectly ordinary - until the night she began stepping into other people’s dreams.
Follow Sara as she learns to cope with this extraordinary gift (or curse) in the first three books of the Dream Series:
DREAM STUDENTIt’s bad enough that, thanks to her supernatural talent, Sara is learning more than she ever needed to know about her friends and classmates, watching their most secret fantasies whether she wants to or not. Much worse are the other dreams, the ones she sees nearly every night, featuring a strange, terrifying man who commits unspeakable crimes. Now Sara wonders if she’s the only witness to a serial killer - and the only one who knows when and where he’s going to strike next.
DREAM DOCTOR Medical school and life as a newlywed would be enough by themselves for anybody to handle. But Sara’s got another problem - her dreams have started up again. Almost everyone at the medical school is dreaming about the death of the school’s least popular teacher, Dr. Morris, and once again, Sara finds herself in the role of unwilling witness to a murder before it happens. But this time, there are too many suspects to count, and it doesn’t help matters that she hates Dr. Morris every bit as much as any of his would-be murderers do.
DREAM CHILD Sara thought she had made peace with her dreaming talent, but she’s got a surprise coming: her four-year-old daughter has inherited it, too.

Slow Moving

Once again a good idea and some pretty good characters are wasted by a plot so slow moving that you'd expect to find it in your kid's high school literature reading assignment. This purchase was made by me on request; the fact that I got three books in one was what clinched this one for me. Unfortunately I don't know if that's a positive or not because I couldn't even get all the way through book one. If you have a thing for writing that uses an hour to go over a two minute event in stunningly exacting detail for each and every emotion this one's for you. Being ADD I have a weakness concerning the use of a lot of detail, and these books may not be too detailed for everyone. Still for me this one bogged down far too often for me to stick with it; my recommendation is that you pass on this one.

- Me & My Girls "Thanks and respect to the women that served and paid a high price. You are still gorgeous Shi; your scars make you even more beautiful."

Best series I have read in years!

Where does Dream Sequence rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It has to be in the top five for listening enjoyment.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sara, she was a caring intelligent courageous young woman that used her troubling psychic dreams to help and save others. I would want her for my friend.

What about Heather Jane Hogan’s performance did you like?

Her voice was absolutely perfect for portraying Sara, both the dream sequences and Sara's innermost thoughts. It was like being in Sara's mind with her. Plus I like a lovely voice, and Heather has a voice like satin and velvet.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it would have been too long since this is a three book series, but I went back to it every chance I got.

Any additional comments?

I plan to read the rest of the books in this series. It was interesting and a great experience.
