Publisher's Summary

Sara Barnes thought her life was perfectly ordinary - until the night she began stepping into other people’s dreams.
Follow Sara as she learns to cope with this extraordinary gift (or curse) in the first three books of the Dream Series:
DREAM STUDENTIt’s bad enough that, thanks to her supernatural talent, Sara is learning more than she ever needed to know about her friends and classmates, watching their most secret fantasies whether she wants to or not. Much worse are the other dreams, the ones she sees nearly every night, featuring a strange, terrifying man who commits unspeakable crimes. Now Sara wonders if she’s the only witness to a serial killer - and the only one who knows when and where he’s going to strike next.
DREAM DOCTOR Medical school and life as a newlywed would be enough by themselves for anybody to handle. But Sara’s got another problem - her dreams have started up again. Almost everyone at the medical school is dreaming about the death of the school’s least popular teacher, Dr. Morris, and once again, Sara finds herself in the role of unwilling witness to a murder before it happens. But this time, there are too many suspects to count, and it doesn’t help matters that she hates Dr. Morris every bit as much as any of his would-be murderers do.
DREAM CHILD Sara thought she had made peace with her dreaming talent, but she’s got a surprise coming: her four-year-old daughter has inherited it, too.

Best series I have read in years!

Where does Dream Sequence rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It has to be in the top five for listening enjoyment.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sara, she was a caring intelligent courageous young woman that used her troubling psychic dreams to help and save others. I would want her for my friend.

What about Heather Jane Hogan’s performance did you like?

Her voice was absolutely perfect for portraying Sara, both the dream sequences and Sara's innermost thoughts. It was like being in Sara's mind with her. Plus I like a lovely voice, and Heather has a voice like satin and velvet.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it would have been too long since this is a three book series, but I went back to it every chance I got.

Any additional comments?

I plan to read the rest of the books in this series. It was interesting and a great experience.

I started listening to this book out of curiosity. I really enjoyed it. It tells a great story of a young lady who grows into an amazing woman who is able to travel into other people's dreams. Thanks to the dreams she is able to solve different situations and saves lives. I recommend the series.

I received the book as a free gift for my review and honest opinion.

Good series.

I love a story with mystery and suspense so I really enjoyed listening to the first three books in the Dream series.

The premise of the story sounded great and very intriguing- Sara sees other people's dreams when she falls asleep and 'witnesses' a murder when she does so.
It's a race against time to solve mysteries, solve murders and save victims.

It sounds exciting....and it is at times, however there are also sections which where the story was quite slow and simply revolved round the characters day to day activities. A lot of the story is college based where the characters are young and quite immature. The relationships develop at breakneck speed and Sara and Brian get married ridiculously young. However, they made a cute couple and I liked them.

The narrator does a great job with performing the different voices. I also liked how she changed her tone of voice to differentiate between Sarah's dreams and the rest of the story.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy gifted by the author.

Dream Sequence

Audible:I gave up in part 2.It is a VERY slow book.College love story and immaturity gets in the way of the story.Heather Jane Hogan has a nice voice, but needs to put some gumption in her reading.I was provided this book by the author, narrator or publisher.
