Publisher's Summary

To right a wrong, two souls are brought together only to shatter when they are torn apart by the deeds of an evil druid. Dragon Knight Stephen MacKay's powers are altered after the death of his sister. Now he is plagued with visions that threaten to destroy his soul. When Aileen Kerrigan falls through a time tunnel, he vows to keep her safe, despite the fact the beautiful but head-strong half-blooded fae could be the death of him. When Aileen finds out her dad is a Fenian Warrior, she flees to a nearby ruin. Armed with the medallion her mother gave her, and a matching one belonging to a long dead knight, she is flung into the past and finds a handsome but surly warrior who is on a quest. Now it seems her future could be entwined with his, if she doesn't kill him first.

A wondrous story brought to life

I have read this book before, and believe the story stands on its own. However, it was brought to life by Ewan MacRae. The bardic tale is interpreted in such a way that the words are brought to life. The world is rich, the voices a joy to hear. I thought it couldn't get any better as Lachlan's evil was brought to life. The bishop was brought into sinister reality, and of course the love story was beautifully portrayed. I fell in love with Aileen as she wished on the dandelion fluff and reveled as her relationship with Stephen strengthened. Their first meeting is a joy to read, as I enjoyed Stephen's humorous response to his "Fae".

Prepare for a treat. My only request: the next story narrated by Ewan MacRae.

Pure magic

I'm a big fan of Ms.Morgan's work & I couldn't believe that it would be possible for it to get any better or that anything could improve upon my this experience of one of her stories...But Mr.MacHaes ability to move smoothly between descriptive storytelling to Characters narrative was amazingly done. Mr.MacHae as narrator was perfection, I loved his accent & his voice brought a favorite tale of my to life... This was a journey of pure magic & joy. This was a perfect telling of a wonderful tale...It would be a mistake not to give this a listen.
