Publisher's Summary

When it comes to love, sometimes the best bet is to double down.
Kit and Luke Armas are cyborgs created for one purpose, battle. Now that the war is over, they must fight to carve out a place for themselves in a universe they were intended to die for but never be a part of.
Cargo pilot Zura Watson came to the edge of civilized space to start over. The Drift is a haven for the hunted, the lost, and those seeking second chances. It was also the last place in the cosmos Zura expected to find love.
When the shadows of the past threaten to eclipse this trio's future, they'll have to fight for their chance at love and the life they've always dreamed of.

Alien Love

Zura Watson is a loner, a half human half alien being, who pilots a cargo ship on the outer edges of space. Zura reaches a ragtag civilization called The Drift where her life changes in ways she never imagined. There she meets cyborg brothers Kit and Luke Armas, who are struggling to find a place in a world that still looks upon cyborgs as inferior and to be feared.

Double Down is erotic science fiction with a heart. The story is engaging from the beginning and I liked Zura’s tough as nails demeanor, but she has a heart of gold underneath that gruff exterior. Kit and Luke play well off each other and lower Zura’s defenses. The story is explicit and as you can tell from the cover. It’s a menage story, but it’s all about pleasing her.

Tieran Wilder narrates this nearly 6-hour audiobook. She does a nice job fully voicing the production. She gives each character their own distinctive voice and her pacing in the telling of the story was perfect.

Susan Hayes is a new author to me and I enjoy her writing. Her style reminds me of Lisa Lace and that’s not a bad thing! I look forward to listening to more in this series.

An interesting twist, cyborgs that fall in love... A good start of the series, the story flows easily. Overall I enjoyed it, loved the voices for Kit and Luke, their devotion to Zura is endearing, lucky woman. A love story mixed with a bit of suspense, some hot scenes and a HEA made the hours fly by quickly.
New narrator for me, Ms. Wilder has that warm voice that draws the listener in. I like that I can hear the emotions and moods behind the words. Will definitely pick up the 2nd one too.
