Time travel, Scotland, Romance and Mystery

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

A young girl nearing her 25th birthday begins to have strange experiences such as a brook in the woods behind her apartment that wasn't there before. Dreams of being in Scotland and approached by men from another time. parallel to her experience is that of two men in long ago Scotland meeting her and 'puff' suddenly she's gone. Things begin to evolve and discovered to explain what is occurring...including a letter from her father, she was adopted, with a mysterious message that may be revealed on her birthday.
I enjoyed that it moved along quickly and I liked the characters so that always makes the story interesting. Romance, paranormal, mystery...a little of everything to whole your interest!
The narrator did a nice job with a Scottish accent, which I always enjoy accents...emotion, change in voices and pacing was very good.
I would recommend this book if you enjoy time travel and the suspension of belief aspect...which to me is the enjoyment of romance paranormal books. Give it a listen! The ending leaves you hanging, but not an absolute cliffhanger, but does make you want to read the next book

Very Enjoyable

Any additional comments?

This is a lovely romance about a modern woman time traveling to the past to meet up with a very hot Scottish warrior. Hard to go wrong with that. I liked the story premise and how the time travel comes about for Jami. Also, how Jami keeps loyal to her friend good friend Todd throughout the twits and turns of what’s happening to her. The only disconnect for me was her strong dislike for her adopted mother. I don’t feel I got a good understanding of why that was. Overall this is a very good romance. The narration was also very well done!
