Publisher's summary

The Talon Pack continues with a new twist to the Packs and a revelation no one was prepared for.

Mitchell Brentwood is aware that others think he's the harsh taskmaster Beta trying to keep his Pack alive, but they only see what he wants them to know. He'd once thought he had his path laid out before him, but when his future was violently ripped away, he vowed he'd never let anyone close again-especially not a young wolf from a traitorous Pack.

Dawn Levin may be younger than the war that destroyed her people, but she knows she must still pay for their sins. She's ready to find her way in this new world where wolves and humans blend as one, but first, she needs to fight her attraction to the dark wolf that stands in her way.

While the two struggle with their feelings and burning attraction for each other, they can't ignore the world that shakes beneath their feet. There is a new enemy on the horizon, one with revenge and the unknown on their minds. An adversary that might be closer than they realize.

enjoyed it

Story comment: good pace, likeable well written characters, lots of drama and chemistry. Another great Talon pack story. Takes place after the events in the first 5 books but can still be listened to without being lost. Mitchell and Dawn both have events in their past holding them back from the chance of a future together. __
Narrator comment; Gregory Salinas does a good job on the narration, he has good inflections and intonations, it was easy to distinguish characters and I felt the emotion and anticipation of the story.

Good storyline

This is a continuous story of the Talen Pack. The story focused on Max and Dawn along with their new enemy.

Mitchell's story

My heart went out to Mitchell and the mate he lost. He tries to avoid and deny the attraction/bond between him and Dawn, but his heart won't let him. Dawn has her own baggage to overcome, and tries the friend with benefits route with Mitchell, but her heart wants more! Action, mystery, and heat. Evil- Blade is still lurking and hiding behind others to commit atrocities against the Talon pack- coward. Can he be stopped? Two more books and I'll have my answer !! The narrator's voice and expressions were great and brought the story to life. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Dawn and Mitchell

This story is very enjoyable. I love shifter stories and this one fits that bill to a T. It was interesting learning about all their pack levels. The two main characters really threw me for a loop. I didn’t think they were going to end up together....no matter what their wolfs say. This not only had the story of Dawn and Mitchell but there seems to be a dangerous story that runs through the Talon Pack stories.

I listened to this on audio. Gregory Salinas was the narrator. He does a wonderful job on the different males.

Awesome PNR/shifter romance

Yes girl! I really Loved this story sand I’m wondering why I haven’t read/listened to any of Carrie Ann Ryan’s stories before because this was so freaking good. I really enjoyed seeing Mitchell and Dawn let go and let their feelings for each other takeover. The suspense part of the story kept me glued to my headphones.

This was my first narration by Gregory Salinas and i really enjoyed it. i was on the fence for the first few minutes, but he quickly won me over and ended up getting lost in his narration and the story.

Awesome story telling

I have previously stated that I thoroughly enjoy listening to this narrator. Though I prefer a male female team, this narrator does a great job of bringing you into the story.
Dawn's parents were one of the surviving couples who ran away from the central pack when the trouble began. She is one of the last children to have been born before the goddess took away that ability. She has been trying to work in the human world as a barista and also be part of an unrecognized pack of ex-Centrals. She has seen Mitchel Brentwood before but he has never talked to her.
Mitchel has been mates before to a human that no one in his family knew about. When she died he felt like a part of him died too. So when he feels an attraction to Dawn, he fights it. When he realizes that she may not be truly human, it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't want to get hurt again.
When Dawn and her four human friends get attacked by a rogue things begin to change. They must figure out who wants to hurt Dawn and why. Dawn's friends have now learned that she has been a wolf this whole time.
