This is a great book; this is the third book in the Jade Calhoun series written by Deanna Chase and narrated by Traci Odom. New Orleans coven leader, Jade Calhoun, is embarking on a Hellish mission. Literally. A week ago her ex sacrificed himself to Hell in order to save Jade’s mother. While he suffers, Jade will stop at nothing to bring him home even if it means working with Lailah, an angel she’s never trusted. But the stakes are raised when Jade discovers her boyfriend, Kane, is marked by a demon. The very same one who tried seducing him right before Jade’s eyes. Now Kane’s life is on the line, and consequently, Jade’s soul is compromised. She’ll need all the help she can get, including Lailah’s, as she fights her way through Hell to save her ex and Kane and her entire existence
This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises.
The narrator Traci Odom did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Maybe. It would depend on the friend and their tastes. It's a little flightly and the narration is just ok.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jade. Her voice and strength are the best part of her.
What didn’t you like about Traci Odom’s performance?
I hate her voice for Leila. It is very irritating. But maybe that was the way she meant it to be. It's a little hard to take her seriously when her voice is so flighty and grating.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I'm pretty sure that I would not.
Any additional comments?
I hope the next book is better. Time to change narrators.
Would you try another book written by Deanna Chase or narrated by Traci Odom?
I'll try the next in the series in the hope of some improvement - the narration is fine but the complete lack of backbone in the character of Jade Calhoun is a big letdown.
Has Demons of Bourbon Street put you off other books in this genre?
It's putting me off the other books in the series
You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?
It could have been good but the main character's blithe acceptance when she's walked all over is not appealing in the least.
