Publisher's summary

The irresistible, blazing-hot sequel to New York Times best-selling author Molly McAdams's Forgiving Lies.

Rachel is supposed to be planning her wedding to Kash, the love of her life. After the crazy year they've had, she's ready to settle down and live a completely normal life. Well, as normal as it can be. But there's something else waiting - something threatening to tear them apart.

Kash is ready for it all with Rachel, especially if "all" includes having a football team of babies with his future wife. In his line of work, Kash knows how short life can be and doesn't want to waste another minute of their life together. But now his past as an undercover narcotics agent has come back to haunt him...and it's the girl he loves who's caught in the middle.

Trent Cruz's orders are clear: Take the girl. But there's something about this girl that has him changing the rules and playing a dangerous game to keep her safe. When his time as Rachel's protector runs out, Trent will turn his back on the only life he's known - and risk everything if it means getting her out alive.

Very interesting characters

I liked the characters, especially the new one introduced in this book, Taylor/Trent. I hope he gets his own book. The ending was perfect.

Great story!

I almost didn't listen to this one because of the negative reviews. However, I'm glad I did! This was a great book and had a perfect ending :)

Wonderful story

I started this series backwards - I read Lie To Me first (which was heartbreakingly great, and about their son) and then discovered Forgiving Lies which I want to listen to again because every part of that story was amazing. This book is a great continuation of Kash and Rachel’s relationship and they are, hands down, my favorite couple from this author. I hope that there’s a story out there about Trent Cruz because he deserves some happiness… the voice artist for that character, however, was the only drawback for me. Not that it wasn’t good, just that it didn’t seem to fit the character description in the least.

Tears all the time.

Throughout this book I've cried a river of tears. After that clog hanger in Forgiving Lies I had to start on Deceiving Lies and I'm glad I did. I use my free credit on Forgiving Lies and paid the $16 something dollars for Deceiving Lies. Definitely well worth it.

Great story

Overall great story and performance. The voice for “Taylor” did not match the character described which was distracting.

Love Kash

Kash is definitely a favorite character of mine and I really loved this story and the three different points of view.

Loved It

I'm a fan of the characters and the series
.. in addition to the spin off series'. I was just listening along and was enjoying it all until the narrator for "Taylor" began speaking. It was like a bucket of cold water. I picture the scene and the people as I listen so books become movies in my head. Well... in this "head movie", Taylor Lautner was supposed to start speaking but instead, a balding, late 40-something year old science teacher, wearing glasses, a yellow and grey striped bow tie, in a medium blue button down and a pocket protector, flooded the speakers in my truck and I had to stop the book in its tracks so I could regroup. I was too far in, to turn it off but if he had been in the first chapter... it would have been curtains for this "read". Other than that... I loved it and I love both Kash and Mason! I love the family that comes in future years since that's when I first met them. Keep up the good work!

The love

I liked the anticipation of what was going to happen. And the loyalty they had to one another.

Good story!

Great story line, a little slow to start but picks up before long. Not a fan of either male narrator.
