Jessica Macks is a she-wolf on the run from a band of murderous rogues. When she finds a job at a shifter bar, it seems like a safe haven from her hunted life on the road. But the minute she walks through the swinging doors of the Blue Moon Saloon and comes face-to-face with the man she once loved, she's tempted to march right back out. No way, no how is she risking her heart to that infuriating alpha bear again.
Simon Voss thought he had lost everything in an ambush months before: his home, his family, his past. His new job at the Blue Moon Saloon is a desperately needed fresh start. Then along comes Jessica, the irresistible she-wolf his clan forced him to reject years before. When Simon is obliged to hire Jessica and work side by side with the one woman to ever make his bear go wild, he's half in heaven, half in hell. He hasn't forgotten her, and she sure as hell hasn't forgiven him. Is this just another path to heartbreak or his last chance to claim his destined mate?
Behind the doors of the Blue Moon Saloon, alpha shifters confront their darkest fears and their deepest desires. Each book is a complete standalone story - no cliffhangers!

Sweet, Intense, Addicting
My favorite part of the story would have to be the fire. I know, I know the most terrible thing to happen during the book is my favorite part? The intensity between the characters during the fire had me sitting at the edge of my seat.
I really loved Osborne's style. She didn't try to over-do a southern accent like many performers do and the twang came out almost naturally (as it should for the characters) in some of the words. Her voice is clear and crisp, it gave more life to the story and differentiating between characters was a breeze.
The fire was the most moving part for me. As Jess ran from the fire, calling for her mate, my heart twisted. I felt what she felt.
This book is one I would definitely recommend. I was hooked from the first chapter and will definitely be picking up the next one in the series. I really hope Soren gets an audio book, he's intriguing and I sooooo want him to find his HEA.
