Loved it

I absolutely loved listening to this one. Roi and Missy are absolutely enjoyable to read about. I loved the way they banter. I love Mandy M. Roth writing style. She has a style that is absolutely awesome to read.

Recommend

I so love this series. This is book 2 in the Immortal Ops series and is a stand alone book with a wonderful HEA. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. The narrator does an awesome job with all the characters and brings them to life. Roy is a typical hot guy with commitment issues and Missy is perfect for him.

Great story with a KICK a$$ female

I absolutely loved the audio version of this book. I read the original, the 2016 Anniversary extended version, and now listened to audio and it just keeps getting better. Missy knows something is different about the "team" but she is not quite human herself, but masks herself so they think she is. Roi has been head over heels for Missy, a little hell cat, since meeting her. She is all he thinks of. Now her life is in danger and he feels an overwhelming need to protect her. I love the comical alpha attitude he puts off and sticks his foot in his mouth numerous times. Missy is not one to sit back and take that mess. She is way more than meets the eye and I absolutely love her.

I stalk Audible waiting for another book in this series to appear

This is Missy and Roi's story. Full of action, humor, and, of course, hot sex. These two meet in the first book, Immortal Ops, but really get know one another here.

I think it would help to read this series in order. There are a few that still need to come out in audio (I'll be stalking Audible until they arrive)

Mason Lloyd is the narrator. He always does a great job. I have purchased books just because he reads them.

Spending a credit on this would be a credit well spent.

Missy is Chill!

Critical Intelligence was great! I can’t believe that I hadn’t already listened to it. Missy is all cool laid back, like don’t worry about me. When in fact she’s why they say it’s the quiet ones that you should worry about. She’s got ninja death skills and you don’t want to tick her off. Roi was so fun in you like me, I like you, we can’t say anything. When push came to shove and these two were together, they were dangerous. Mason Lloyd did a fabulous job narrating and bringing the characters to life. He always has a rich and smooth voice. Even the “fights” between Missy and Roi sounded great.

I love Missy and Roi

I love the expanded version of this story! Missy and Roi are truly fight like cats and dogs. There chemistry is amazing and it is hilarious to see them fight their attraction to each other. Especially when Roi keeps sticking his foot in his mouth. Missy is an amazing woman who leads a double life...much to her detriment when Roi tries to figure her out. However, I fell in love with him when he told her he would stick by her no matter what. These two may fight and "hate" each other sometimes but they fall fast. Mandy did an amazing job on these stories!

Critical Intelligence

The audio version is wonderful. As always, Mason Lloyd gives a stellar performance, the storyline is exciting, steamy, and has a cast you can't help but love. Roi Majors is second in control of the I-Ops, hard to tell by his show of respect or lack thereof, a wolf shifter who rates at the top of the womanizing scale. He is still convinced he never wants to settle when he meets up again with the woman he recently kidnapped to protect.

Said woman, Missy Carter, swears she is unimpressed, although she knows there is something about this man that won't let her ignore him. Given the mandate to kidnap her again, to protect her, Roi doesn't know if she should take her to bed or refuse the order. What he doesn't know about the woman who keeps his attention away from all others is going be a surprise of epic proportions. She is part of the intel of a shadow agency he resents and knows no human should have any knowledge.

This amazing story of love, intrigue, evil villains, loyalty, and betrayal, is filled with characters who are teammates, sparring buddies, and the salvation of the human world. Roi's loyalty and strength will be tested. He will discover things about his mate, yes, Missy is his mate, that would be too much for most men. Will it be for Roi? Will the two be able to overcome their work controversies and personal conflicts?

Falling in love with these guys isn't hard for the reader. Ms. Roth has set up the next adventure and I have already pre-ordered mine. I strongly recommend this book and the rest of the series.

I so love the I-Ops...as an idea is amazing despite the fact that most books are not so well written and the plot has holes and at points we get scenes that were not meant to be there.
I love the fact that this group of Ops can be funny as hell and Alpha as hell and at the same time just a bunch of men goofing around.
Each one of them has his own personality that fits him to the T and the mates on the other hand are so fitting that makes you wanna laugh knowing these men found their match to all things considered.
So is the series worth a 5 star rating....yes....despite all the flaws and all the difficulties its an awesome series.
