Zane just wants to enjoy his usual blood buffet; instead he runs into a wisp of a woman who makes him feel emotions he thought long dead. Rescuing her from the insane asylum, he brings her home, determined to seduce and feed from her, a plan that is foiled by ghostly voices determined to keep Ella untouched. What a 5 star fun story

Have this in Audio. The Author Eve Langlais is and will be Eve . All her stories are full of laughs but with lots of Romance and full of imagination. That is what makes her paranormal so much fun. I had lots of fun listening to this .
Hero is Zane . Heroine is Ella .
You meet Ella when she was a child. She’s in the kitchen and you hear Ella saying to her mother and father what the voices in her head tell her out loud .
Ella got her father in trouble by what she said. Of course Ella was sent up to her room into her closet to pray for her soul.
A few days later Ella was sent to an institution because Ella kept on saying she heard voices in her head all the time .
Many yrs later the voices tell Ella to run and save herself . And then the voices stop . Into the distance Ella sees a shadow leaning over the residence of the institution and then going from one person to the next .
When the shadow comes to her room the shadow tells Ella to lie down and sleep . Lol haha Ella tells the shadow she’s not tired and she was sleeping it the shadow (Zane ) woke her .

Zane is shocked that Ella is talking back to him and she’s not quaking in her boots. Zane decided to save Ella from the nurses and doctors from the institution.
There is plenty more to the story but I don’t want to ruin it for you . Why isn’t Ella afraid of Zane and why did Ella’s parents send her away .

Crazy not crazy

I struggled to finish this book. I enjoyed the characters in the story but the switching of the narrators was a bit annoying. I feel that if your going to have a male and female narrator then let them do the male and female character. other than that the storyline was.pretty good. I hope there will be more to the story. Also the ending was a little climatic. There should have been more to it. Too easy too clean.
