Action Packed

this book has it all. Action and romance.
This story is about Jenn who signs up for Terra Mates for the 2000 credits if not picked. She did not figure she would be picked to be a bride and did not want to be. She had already come out of bad relationship. She just needed some money. Earth and Anquera had been at war a long time and it was decided that Kai the stepson to the emperor would got earth and choose from one of the women from Terra Mates exchange for a treaty between the two planets but also the the emperor was also trying to get an alliance with the Similcue to help with the war against Earth. Jenn hides in a closet because she does not want to be picked and Kai getting tired of all the questions etc with the Terra mates hides in the same closed. After talking to each he realizes she is is Sindare(mate). They both sneak away and get ambushed by assassins he takes her aboard his ship and they leave for Anquera. Where the action starts. The Similicue attack Anquera and they also have the intention to attach Earth. So Kai and Jenn and is soldiers have to work with Soldiers on Earth ships to try and defeat the Similicue. Can they do????? This was one of my favorites in this series. The narration was great and the story line was well developed and fantastic. I received this book free for an honest review.

Sealing the Alliance

This installment in the TerraMates series was great. I loved the whole concept of Earth being on the brink of war with another planet but being able to offer up the possibility of a compromise and peace treaty with a marriage. But to whom? Leave it to TerraMates!! I don't like to spoil the fun, so I will just say that this is one of my favorites in the series. Our H&h are both totally competent, smart and likable. They are fighting against bad guys with no redeeming qualities. Another great adventure. This series is awesome. Can't wait for more.

Narrator: Casandra Myles is good with voices, emotions and inflection. I forgive the rare mispronunciations here and there like mischievous and personnel (even though one of them was the QUEEN MOTHER of all pet peeves of mine: CALvary instead of CAValry--Yeah, yeah, I know a LOT of people say it wrong, but. that. doesn't. change. the. fact. that. it. drives. me. freaking. crazy!). OK, so despite my grammar-induced, mini break with rational thought, I thought CM actually did quite a good job overall.
