In the days to follow, ordinary turns magical as Natalie and Wes weave a spell around each other. With fishing in the stream behind her cabin, cooking together, and discovering other common ground, two lonely people become a little less lonely. The world seems brighter and maybe a future is even possible.
Enter parents, job complications, and a conniving former lover to insert turmoil into their charming world. Will Wes become alarmed when the amnesia finally lifts and he has to face the life he left behind? Will that life include Natalie?

Sweet western romance!
What made the experience of listening to Cool Water the most enjoyable?
I enjoyed the narrator's rendition of the story. She made it a fun experience.
What did you like best about this story?
The plot was great! A trail rider in Yosemite saves her group from a bear attack. Some guy comes out of the forest and is caught up in the danger but is bucked off his horse and develops amnesia. I liked the slow discovery of love between Natalie and Wes.
Have you listened to any of Stacey Melotte’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
She does a great job.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted to listen to it all in one sitting but didn't have the time.
Any additional comments?
I will look for more books by this author and narrator.
